Abstract
Celem analiz podjętych w artykule jest refleksja nad znaczeniem trudnej antropologicznej wypowiedzi św. Pawła dla pełniejszego zrozumienia jego nauki o człowieku usprawiedliwionym: φορέσομεν - "nosić będziemy obraz niebieskiego" (Biblia Tysiąclecia) oraz φορέσωμεν - "nośmy obraz niebiańskiego" (przekład ks. Wujka). Istniejące warianty tekstu krytycznego 1 Kor 15,49b są punktem wyjścia analiz biblijno-teologicznych. Na analizy składają się trzy kroki badawcze: 1 Kor 15,49b w świetle ustaleń krytyki tekstu, próba interpretacji w. 49 z uwzględnieniem jego kontekstu literackiego i teologicznego oraz interpretacja 1 Kor 15,49 w ramach antropologii św. Pawła. Całokształt antropologicznego nauczania apostoła podpowiada, że problematyczny tekst 1 Kor 15,49 należałoby rozumieć w sensie aktualnej obecności obrazu Chrystusa w wierzącym, który od momentu chrztu św. stopniowo upodabnia się do obrazu Chrystusa (gr. εἰκών) (zob. 2 Kor 3,18; por. Rz 8,29; Flp 3,20-21). Możliwe jest przyjęcie obu kierunków interpretacji, jednak niezależnie od przyjętego rozwiązania w świetle antropologii św. Pawła przemiana, naśladowanie i upodobnianie się do obrazu Chrystusa dokonuje się w ziemskim życiu chrześcijanina, który już teraz winien stawać się coraz bardziej „obrazem Obrazu”.
The aim of the article is not to establish the original text of 1Cor. 15:49, but based on two existing textual possibilities to explore a complexity of the Pauline anthropology. The subject has been treated in three points. First, the textual witnesses of 1Cor. 15:49 are discussed. The probable lesson φορέσομεν - „we will also bear the image…” (indicativus futuri; cf. NRS) is preferred by the editors of Greek New Testament (4th Edition) and by many exegetes at the present time; the alternative possible reading φορέσωμεν - „we shall also bear the image” (coniunctivus aoristi – hortative; cf. KJV) is present in most external witnesses of 1Cor. 15:49 and was also current in numerous Church’s fathers writings. The second paragraph deals with the determinants of exegetical considerations over 1Cor. 15:49 which establish according various authors its didactic, not hortatory context; but the second one can not be excluded. In the third part the author discusses some important Pauline texts, especially illustrating the temporal process of gradual transformation of Christians into the image (gr. εἰκών) of Christ. As Paul says, Christians are being transformed from „glory to glory” (2Cor. 3:18; cf. Rom 8:29; Phil. 3:20-21). The fact of gradual transformation into the image of Christ constitutes one of the essential ideas of the Pauline anthropology.
