dc.description.abstractW obecnych dyskusjach teologicznych o miłosierdziu Bożym zwraca się uwagę na jego wymiar trynitarny. Niemniej jednak często nie wspomina się o Duchu Świętym, chociaż Duch Święty, zgodnie z Objawieniem, jest rozumiany jako “Osoba-Miłość” i “Osoba-Dar” zarówno w Trójcy, jak i w Kościele. Duch Święty jest zatem szczególnie związany z Miłosierdziem Bożym, jak zauważył Jan Paweł II w “Dominum et Vivificantem”. Duch jest uosobieniem Bożego miłosierdzia. Dar Bożego miłosierdzia objawia się w nieustannym dawaniu Ducha Świętego przez Ojca, poczynając od stworzenia, zintensyfikowanego w historii Izraela i znajdując swój punkt kulminacyjny w Jezusie Chrystusie, który wylewa Ducha Świętego w pełni w celu odpuszczenia grzechów i przekazania nowości życia. Kościół jako Ciało Chrystusa nieustannie przyjmuje na nowo Ducha Miłosierdzia, aby oczyścić się z grzechu (lub od niego zachować) i przygotować na przyjście Chrystusa jako Jego Oblubienicy. Ponadto Kościół, napełniony tym Duchem, ma wylewać tego Ducha poprzez głoszenie slowa Bożego, sakramenty i służbę światu. Zamiast utożsamiać miłosierdzie wyłącznie z jego skutkami doczesnymi (mianowicie usunięciem grzechu lub nędzy), milosierdzie Boże utożsamia się zatem z Osobą Ducha Świętego i efektami Jego działania, które nie kończą się wraz z usunięciem grzechu, ale będzie trwać w wieczności w duszach usprawiedliwionych.pl
dc.description.abstractIn current theological and pastoral discussions of Divine Mercy, there is an effort to focus on its Trinitarian dimension. Nevertheless, there is often little mention of the Holy Spirit, even though the Holy Spirit, according to Revelation, is understood as "Person-Love" and "Person-Gift" both within the Trinity and in the Church. The Holy Spirit is thus particularly associated with Divine Mercy, as pointed out by John Paul II in "Dominum et Vivificantem", that the attribute of mercy is made present and personified by the Holy Spirit. The gift of Divine Mercy is revealed in the Father’s constant giving of the Holy Spirit, beginning with creation, intensified in the history of Israel, and finding its climax in Jesus Christ, who pours out the Holy Spirit anew for the forgiveness of sins and newness of life. The Church, as the Body of Christ, constantly receives anew this Spirit of Mercy, so as to be purified of sin and be prepared for the coming of Christ as His Bride. Moreover, the Church, filled with this Spirit, is to pour out this Spirit through her preaching, sacraments, and service upon the world. Rather than identifying mercy solely with its temporal effects (namely, the removal of sin or misery), Divine Mercy is thus identified with the Person of the Holy Spirit and the effects of His activity, which do not cease with the removal of sin, but will continue in eternity in the souls of the redeemed.pl
