dc.description.abstractTroska Kościoła o osobę z niepełnosprawnością intelektualną, to dbałość o katechezę osób z niepełnosprawnością intelektualną, która opiera się przede wszystkim na Piśmie Świętym, które uczy, że każdy człowiek został stworzony „na obraz Boży” (Rdz 1,27) i jest zdolny do poznania oraz miłowania swego Stwórcy (por. KDK 12) oraz powołany do życia we wspólnocie. Termin «katecheza» pochodzi od greckiego czasownika katecheo: „wołać z góry”, ale również: „wywoływać echo”. Katecheza osób z niepełnosprawnością intelektualną jest trudnym wyzwaniem dla współczesnej wspólnoty, aby wywołać echo słowa Bożego: „A Bóg widział, że wszystko, co uczynił, było bardzo dobre” (Rdz 1,31). The Church's concern for the person with intellectual disabilities is to take care of the catechesis of people with intellectual disabilities, which is based primarily on Scripture, which teaches that every human being is created "in the image of God" (Genesis 1:27) and is capable of knowing and loving his or her Creator (cf. Gaudium et spes 12) and called to live in community. The term 'catechesis' comes from the Greek verb katecheo: "to call from above", but also: "to cause to echo". Catechesis for people with intellectual disabilities is a difficult challenge for the contemporary community to evoke an echo of the word of God: "And God saw that all that he had made was very good" (Genesis 1:31).
