dc.description.abstractNiniejsza publikacja przedstawia postać laureata pokojowej Nagrody Nobla, do tej pory traktowaną głównie jako podmiot polityczny, z innej perspektywy - mianowicie komunikacyjnej, a więc także językowej. Celem pracy było zanalizowanie wypowiedzi tego polityka i określenie, w jakim stopniu język może wpływać na kreowanie wizerunku osoby publicznej. Interpretacja zjawisk językowych, zawarta w tej pracy, nie jest jednakże charakterystyką lingwistyczną. Jest ona pisana z punktu widzenia politologa. Zadanie postawione w pracy miało na celu, poza oczywiście samą analizą tekstów, określenie roli mowy Lecha Wałęsy. Teksty, na których bazowano, analizując wypowiedzi Lecha Wałęsy, zarejestrowane były na kasetach wideo i magnetofonowych. Przy pisaniu pracy korzystano także z transkrypcji tekstów prezydenta zamieszczonych w różnych pismach. Praca ta jest pomyślana jako wstęp do badań nie tylko nad wypowiedziami Lecha Wałęsy, ale także wpływem języka tego polityka na kreowanie wizerunku jego osoby.pl
dc.description.abstractThis publication presents the figure of a laureate of the Nobel Peace Prize who has been treated so far mainly as a political entity, as if from another perspective – namely the communicative one, therefore also the linguistic one. The aim of the publication was to analyse the statements of this politician, and to define to what extent the language can affect creating the image of a public figure. However, the interpretation of linguistic phenomena included in this publication is not a linguistic characteristic. It is written from the point of view of a political scientist. The task set in the publication, obviously besides the very analysis of the texts, was supposed to define the role of Lech Wałęsa’s way of speaking. The texts, which Lech Wałęsa’s speeches were based on, were recorded on video and recording cassettes. While writing the publication, the transcriptions of the texts of the president in various magazines were used. This publication is supposed to be not only the introduction to the research on the speeches of Lech Wałęsa, but also the influence of this politician’s language on creating the portrayal of his person.pl
