Abstract
Doświadczenie miłości jest jednym z podstawowych doświadczeń człowieka, które stanowi o jego szczęściu i spełnieniu. Każdy człowiek poszukuje miłości, pragnie być nią obdarowany i nią obdarowywać. Często jednak napotyka trudności w poznaniu prawdy o tym, czym jest miłość, zadowalając się jej namiastkami, fałszywym rozumieniem, spłyceniem jej tylko do uczucia, a nawet egoizmu. A tymczasem prawda o miłości wskazuje, że jest ona piękna, daje człowiekowi szczęście, pozwala na jego rozwój, gdy stawia wymagania. W sposób szczególny dotyczy to miłości małżeńskiej, która ma stać na straży trwałości i nierozerwalności małżeństwa, bycia z sobą do końca miłości ukazał nam Jezus Chrystus, a najpełniej zrealizowali małżonkowie z Nazaretu – Maryja i Józef.
Tę prawdę o pięknie, trudzie i wymaganiach stawianych przez miłość ukazano w artykule poprzez analizę nauczania Jana Pawła II, skierowanego zwłaszcza do młodych i do małżonków, w których wskazuje on, że miłość jest piękna właśnie poprzez to, że stawia wymagania, wymagania te zaś są skierowane najpierw do osoby kochającej. Miłość jest bowiem bezwarunkowa i kocha się drugą osobę nie przez to, co może ona dać, ale ze względu na wartość samej osoby. Taka bez- warunkowa, wymagająca i tym samym piękna miłość stoi także na straży godności człowieka – tego, który jest kochany, i tego, który kocha.
The experience of love is one of the basic human experiences that make him happy and fulfilled. Every person is looking for love, wants to be given it and give it. However, he often encounters difficulties in learning the truth about what love is, contenting himself with its substitutes, false understanding, reducing it only to feeling and even selfishness. Meanwhile, the truth about love shows that love is beautiful, gives a person happiness, allows him to develop when it makes demands. This applies in particular to conjugal love, which is to safeguard the permanence and indissolubility of marriage, being together for the rest of one's life, and responsibility for handing over life to children. Christ showed us the truth about the beauty and demands of love, and the spouses of Nazareth — Mary and Joseph — were fully realized. In the article, the Author shows this truth about beauty, toil and requirements of love by analyzing the teachings of John Paul II, directed especially to young people and spouses, in which he shows that love is beautiful precisely by setting requirements, and these requirements first they are aimed at a loving person. Love is unconditional, and you love another person not because of what they can give, but because of the value of the person himself.
