Abstract
Teologiczny obraz Boga odczytany z pism św. Stanisława Papczyńskiego (1631-1701) nie tylko wpisuje się w główne nurty teologii polskiej XVII wieku, ale również poza nie wykracaza. Określeniem Boga, które niejako zawiera w spobie poszczególne obrazy obecne w twórczości Papczyńskiego jest Deus Pater Misericordiarum. Wskazuje ona na miłość Boga jako główny motyw wszelkich jego działań historiozbawczych. medytacja nad misterium Krzyża (currus et solium Dei) ujawnia sprawiedliwość i miłosierdzie Boga (Deus iustitiae et pientissimus). Cierpienie wcielonego Syna Bożego objawia się w Jego działaniu stwórczym i opatrznościowym (Creator et Providentia). W człowieku imago Dei odbija swoją doskonałość, jest on przedmiotem stałej troski swego Stwórcy, a jako templum Deui mysticum miejscem Jego przebywania. Proces uświęcania człowieka staje się możliwy dzięki misterium wcielenia i odkupienia, którego owocem są dostępne w Eklezji, umiłowanej Oblubienicy Chrystusa (Ecclesia sponsa) i prowadzonej przez Ducha Świętego. Głłębię tajemnicy Boga, Jego nieograniczoność i nieskończoność Autor dostrzega w paradoksach Bożego działania. Teologiczny obraz Boga jest owocem współmyślenia z wieloma autorami i współprzeżywania ze słuchaczami i czytelnikami. Papczyński nie jest reprezentantem monoidei, ale różnorodności spostrzeżeń, mających swoją genezę w wielorakim udzielaniu się Boga i różnorodności Jego słowa. Nie bez racji można więc mówić o wielu obrazach Boga w jego twórczości, a odkrywanie ich na pewno nie jest jeszcze dziełem zakończonym.
The theological image of God depicted in the writings of St. Stanisław Papczyński (1631-1701) not only fits into the main currents of the seventeenth-century Polish theology, but it also goes beyond them. Deus pater Misericordarum is a description of God which somehow embraces individual images present in Papczyński's work. He points to God's love as the main motive of all His saving activities in history. Meditation on the mystery of the Cross (currus et solium Dei) reveals God's justice and mercy (Deus iustitiae et pientissimus). The suffering of the incarnate Son of God leads to the renewal of human nature wounded by sin. God's omnipotence and love are manifested in His creative and providential activities (Creator et Providentia). Imago Dei reflects His perfection in man who is the subject of constant care of his Creator and as templum Dei mysticum is His dwelling. The process of sanctifying man becomes possible thanks to the mystery of the Incarnation and Redemption, the fruits of which are available in the Church - the beloved Bride of Christ (Ecclesia sponsa) and led by the Holy Siprit. The author sees the depth of God's mystery, His absoluteness and infinity in the paradoxes of God's action. The theological image of God is the fruit of thinking together with many authors and interacting with listeners and readers. Papczyński is not a representative of monoidea, but of a variety of insights which have their origin in the multiple sharing of God and the diversity of His word. It is not without reason that one can speak about many images of God in his work, and discovering them certainly has not been finished yet.
