Specyfika prowadzenia badań naukowych wśród osób niesłyszących i słabosłyszących

Abstract

Celem artykułu jest omówienie specyfiki prowadzenia badań naukowych wśród osób niesłyszących i słabosłyszących. Wnioski prowadzą do konstatacji, że ważne jest takie projektowanie badań, aby spełnić postulaty ich poprawności metodologicznej, przy jednoczesnym rozumieniu skomplikowanego społecznego kontekstu badań i zakresu koniecznych modyfikacji (np. w zakresie liczebności badanej populacji).

In research among people with hearing loss, the general principles of social, educational or linguistic research are used. On the other hand, a small size of this population and its high heterogeneity necessitate the use of specific methods and techniques, especially in the process of the selection of research groups. The purpose of this article is to present the basic methodological difficulties in conducting research within the pedagogy of the deaf and to present demands to ensure the correctness of such methodological research. The article is illustrated by an overview of the methodology of the international research on beliefs of the deaf and hard of hearing in learning a foreign language.
