dc.description.abstractPowołanie do grona apostołów czy uczniów Chrystusa, a zatem stawanie się osobą, na której spoczywa bardzo odpowiedzialna misja świadczenia o miłości Boga do grzesznego człowieka oraz głoszenie Ewangelii wszelkiemu stworzeniu (por. Mk 16, 15), nie było darem zarezerwowanym jedynie dla wezwanych do kolegium Dwunastu lub należących do grupy siedemdziesięciu dwóch. Potwierdza to zmartwychwstały Syn Boży, który po swym wniebowstąpieniu, jako pierwszy „apostoł” (por. Hbr 3, 1b), nadal działał, troszcząc się o sukces misji apostolskiej, powołując również inne osoby, wśród których na szczególną uwagę zasługuje św. Paweł. Jak informują Dzieje Apostolskie oraz Pawłowa spuścizna epistolarna, jego zasługi w rozpowszechnianiu nauki Jezusa jest trudno przecenić. Z tym w pełni zgadza się wybitny Ojciec Kościoła Jan Chryzostom (ok. 350-407). Niniejsza dysertacja zebrała wyniki badań w obszarze tego właśnie zagadnienia. A więc w przekonaniu Antiocheńczyka Paweł był prawdziwym i świętym apostołem Chrystusa, co potwierdziły następujące, odkryte dzięki studium fakty: Chrystus, od którego uzyskał on wiedzę ewangeliczną bez jakiegokolwiek pośrednictwa, powołał go osobiście, Paweł swą kerygmą objął ogromne obszary ówczesnego Cesarstwa Rzymskiego, działał w absolutnie odmiennych środowiskach kulturowych, wśród nieustannych prześladowań i procesów sądowych, a także w trakcie głoszenia Ewangelii używał różnych środków i metod oraz prowadził głębokie życie duchowe, czego przypieczętowaniem stały się zdobyte cnoty i walka z wadami.pl
dc.description.abstractThe gift of vocation to the group of both the Apostles and the disciples of Christ, and thus the gift of becoming a person on whom rests a responsible mission of rendering God’s love for a sinful human being and proclaiming the Gospel to all creatures (see Mk 16:15), was not only reserved for those who called to the collegium of the Twelve or those who were belonging to the group of seventy-two. This was confirmed by the resurrected Son of God, who after His ascension to heaven continued to act as the first „apostle” (see Heb 3:1b) and took care of the success of the apostolic mission, among whom St. Paul deserves a special attention. As we are informed by the Acts of the Apostles and the epistolary heritage of St. Paul, his merits in dissemination the teachings of Jesus are difficult to overestimate. This was fully supported by the eminent Father of the Church, John Chrysostom (about 350-407). This dissertation collected the results of research in this area. For John Chrysostom, thus, St. Paul was a truly and holy apostle of Christ. It was confirmed by the following facts discovered thanks to the study: Christ, from whom St. Paul obtained the knowledge of the Gospel without any meditation, called him personally; St. Paul’s preaching embraced the vast areas of the Roman Empire; he acted in absolutely different cultural environments, among the constant persecution and trials; he preached the Gospel through various means and methods and led a deep spiritual life which was sealed by the virtues and by the fight against the defects.pl
