Abstract

Tematem niniejszej rozprawy są społeczno-kulturowe i pedagogiczne uwarunkowania aktywności patriotycznej studentów nauk społecznych uczelni lubelskich. Głównym celem dysertacji jest rozpoznanie uwarunkowań społeczno-kulturowych i pedagogicznych aktywności patriotycznej studentów nauk społecznych w zakresie teoretycznym oraz na podstawie własnych badań empirycznych w środowisku akademickim. W procedurze badawczej sformułowano problem główny i problemy szczegółowe, w których zawiera się charakterystyka uwarunkowań społeczno-kulturowych i pedagogicznych badanych studentów oraz związki tych uwarunkowań z wyróżnionymi kategoriami aktywności patriotycznej badanych osób. W całej rozprawie zastosowano metodę analityczno-syntetyczną, a w badaniach empirycznych metodę sondażu diagnostycznego z wykorzystaniem autorskiego narzędzia kwestionariusza ankiety oraz metod statystycznych przeprowadzonych w programieThe topic of dissertation is socio-cultural and pedagogical determinants of patriotic activity of social science students of Lublin universities. The main aim of the dissertation is to identify the socio-cultural and pedagogical determinants of patriotic activity of social science students in the theoretical field and on the basis of own empirical research in the academic environment of Lublin. The research procedure formulated a main problem and some specific problems, which include the characteristics of the socio-cultural and pedagogical conditions of the students under study and the practical applications and pedagogical conditions of the studied students as well as the relations of these conditions with the distinguished categories of patriotic activity of the studied individuals. Throughout the dissertation the analytical-synthetic method was applied, and in the empirical research the diagnostic survey method with the use of the author's tool of questionnaire survey and statistical methods carried out in the SPSS program. The work is theoretical and empirical in nature. It consists of seven chapters, complemented by an introduction, conclusions and applications, a conclusion, a bibliography and appendix. The first two chapters discuss the theoretical aspects. The third chapter deals with the methodology of the own research, while the next four chapters analytically present the results of the quantitative research. It cannot be denied that the presented dissertation, regarding its theoretical and empirical character, may constitute a source of valuable knowledge not only for parents, clergy, pedagogues and psychologists, but also for teachers, including university scholars, and all those individuals who are interested in the issue of the patriotic activity of the young generation.
