Abstract

Niniejszy tekst dotyczy odpowiedzialności teologa moralisty za Kościół, która to odpowiedzialność realizuje się w postaci wzrastania w wierze, rozeznawaniu w jej świetle aktualnej sytuacji Kościoła oraz w podejmowaniu zadania interpretatora przesłania ewangelicznego w obecnych czasach. Celem tekstu jest prezentacja misji teologa moralisty w zakresie odpowiedzialności za Kościół. W opracowaniu zagadnienia użyto metody analizy i syntezy oraz wskazano na elementy porównania wypowiedzi różnych papieży na ten temat. Rezultatem artykułu jest ukazanie trzech wymiarów misji teologa moralisty, które polegają na słuchaniu i rozeznawaniu oraz dążeniu do świętości i pełnieniu funkcji hermeneutycznej. Krytyczna funkcja teologa nakłada na niego zadanie pogłębiania i rozwijania nauki Kościoła oraz jej popularyzowania we współczesnym języku zrozumiałym dla odbiorców zanurzonych we współczesnej kulturze. Teolog moralista mający poczucie odpowiedzialności za Kościół pomaga w znalezieniu odpowiedzi na pytanie, jak żyć i jak reagować na wyzwania czasów. Potrzeba zatem nawrócenia dusz-pasterskiego teologii, która nic nie tracąc ze swej pogłębionej refleksji opartej na poprawnej metodologii i solidnej wiedzy zbieranej w uważnej lekturze, będzie umiała dostrzec perspektywę eklezjalną i potrafi ożywiać wiarę Ludu Bożego. Osobista świętość teologa moralisty i jego zakorzenienie we wspólnocie Kościoła pozwalają mu skutecznie realizować odpowiedzialność za przekaz i pogłębianie wiary, która jest drogą do zbawienia.

This text deals with the responsibility of the moral theologian for the Church, which is realized in the form of growing in faith, discerning in its light the current situation of the Church, and taking on the task of the interpretation of the Gospel message in the present day. The purpose of the text is to present the mission of the moral theologian in terms of responsibility for the Church. In the development of the issue, the method of analysis and synthesis was used, and the comparison of the statements of various popes on this subject were pointed out. The result of the article is to show the three dimensions of the moral theologian's mission of listening and discernment, as well as the pursuit of holiness and the hermeneutical function. The critical function of the theologian imposes on him the task of deepening and developing the Church's teachings and popularizing them in contemporary language understandable to an audience immersed in modern culture. A moral theologian with a sense of responsibility for the Church helps to find answers to the question of how to live and how to respond to the challenges of the times. What is needed, therefore, is a pastoral conversion of theology, which, without losing anything from its in‑depth reflection based on correct methodology and solid knowledge gathered in careful reading, will be able to see the ecclesial perspective and can revitalize the faith of God's people. The personal holiness of the moral theologian and his/her rootedness in the community of the Church allow him to effectively carry out the responsibility of transmitting and deepening the faith, which is the path to salvation.
