Pedagogiczne implikacje patriotycznej działalności Tadeusza Gajdy "Tarzana"

Abstract

W dysertacji doktorskiej przedstawiono pedagogiczny wymiar biografii Tadeusza Gajdy — żołnierza, młodego dowódcy oddziału antykomunistycznego, walczącego w widłach Wisły i Sanu w latach 1945-1946, który swoje życie poświęcił w obronie niezawisłości kraju. W pierwszym rozdziale przedstawiono dzieciństwo Gajdy, pokazując jednocześnie znaczenie matki i ojca w kształtowaniu świata wartości dziecka. W drugim rozdziale opisano czas okupacji niemieckiej i sowieckiej w życiu Gajdy. W kolejnym rozdziale opisano czas okupacji niemieckiej i sowieckiej w życiu Gajdy. W kolejnym rozdziale omówiono służbę "Tarzana w polskim podziemiu antykomunistycznym — przedstawiono jego działalność konspiracyjną jako dowódcy jednego z kilku oddziałów NZW Okręgu Rzeszowskiego, a także dowódcy Obwodu III Pogotowia Akcji Specjalnej o kryptonimie "Tatar". W rozdziale czwartym opisano system działań zastosowany przez komunistyczny aparat represji względem Gajdy i jego żołnierzy. W ostatnim rozdziale podęto próbę pokazania współczesnego oddziaływania biografii Gajdy — w głównej mierze — na środowisko lokalne. Skupiono się także na przedstawieniu roli nauczyciela w upowszechnianiu biografii żołnierzy podziemia antykomunistycznego, a zaproponowane działania zostały poparte osobistymi przykładami z praktyki szkolnej. Biografie i posługiwanie się nimi w kontekście pedagogiki są bardzo cennym narzędziem w kształtowaniu obywateli gotowych stanąć do walki w obronie własnego kraju i w razie potrzeby złożyć ofiarę z własnego życia.The doctoral dissertation aims at discussing the pedagogical aspect of the rich biography of Tadeusz Gajda. He was a soldier, as well as a young commander of an anti-communist unit fighting in the area near Vistula and San rivers between 1945 and 1946, who devoted his life to defending the independence of his motherland. The first chapter of the dissertation predominantly touches upon Gajda's childhood, focusing on the impact the mother and the father had on shaping the child's value system. The second chapter discusses the period of German and Soviet occupation that was of a remarkable importance in Gajda's life. The next chapter elaborates on the engagement of "The Tarzan" in a Polish anti-communist unit. His role as the commander of one of several units of the NZW of the Rzeszów District, as well as the commander of the District III Special Action Unit under the codename of "Tatar" is discussed therein. Chapter four of the thesis touches upon actions opted for by the communist repression apparatus against Gajda and his soldiers. IN the last chapter, an attempt is made to show the impact of Gajda's biography on the contemporary local environment. The focus is also put on presenting the role of a teacher in sharing the biographies of anti-communist soldiers with the students, The proposed undertakings are additionally supported by personal, education-oriented examples. Biographies and their utilization in the pedagogical context are a very valuable tool when it comes to shaping the mindset of citizens, making them ready to defend their country and - if need be - to sacrifice their own lives to protect the motherland.
