Abstract
Katechizm od czasów swego powstania aż do dziś zapewnia budowanie komunii eklezjalnej. Każdy wierzący i poszukujący wiary w sposób zwięzły dowiaduje się dzięki katechizmowi, jakie jest lex credendi, lex celebrandi, lex vivendi i lex orandi Kościoła katolickiego. Kościół w ten sposób prowadzi dialog z człowiekiem każdej epoki, odpowiadając na pytania, w co wierzymy, jak celebrujemy naszą wiarę, jak żyjemy według niej i jak się modlimy. Nieco staroświecki tytuł katechizm znów powrócił i stał się - jak w przypadku katechizmu dla młodych Youcat - swoistą aktualizacją, jakby «współczesnym oprogramowaniem dla każdego urządzenia GPS (Global Positioning System)», które pozwala na odnalezienie swego położenia w czasie rzeczywistym, a nieograniczona liczba użytkowników może go stosować niezależnie od warunków, w jakich system ten jest wykorzystywany. Także różne jego aplikacje pozwalają ostrzegać innych przed niebezpieczeństwami, aby dotrzeć do celu bezpiecznie i w zdrowiu. Katechizm jest podobnym narzędziem, które - odpowiednio stosowane we wspólnocie wierzących - prowadzi ich do właściwego celu.
The Catechism has ensured the building up of ecclesial communion from the time of its creation until today. Every believer and seeker of faith learns concisely through the catechism what the lex credendi, lex celebrandi, lex vivendi and lex orandi of the Catholic Church are. In this way, the Church engages in a dialogue with the people of every era, answering the questions of what we believe, how we celebrate our faith, how we live by it and how we pray. The somewhat old-fashioned title of catechism is back again and has become - as in the case of the Youcat catechism for young people - a kind of update, as if it were 'modern software for every GPS (Global Positioning System) device', which allows one's location to be found in real time, and an unlimited number of users can use it regardless of the conditions in which it is used. Also, its various applications make it possible to warn others of dangers in order to reach their destination safely and in good health. The catechism is a similar tool that, when used appropriately in a community of believers, leads them to the right destination.
