Mistagogia roku liturgicznego w ujęciu Piusa Parscha CRSA (1884-1954)

Abstract

Analiza dysertacji opiera się na jednym dziele Parscha Roku Liturgicznym obejmującym aż ok. 1500 s., ale stanowi ono jakby streszczenie tego wszystkiego, co chciał przekazać wiernym, z właściwym sobie duszpasterskim zaangażowaniem i troską. Praca została przedstawiona według klucza - Misterium - Celebracja - Życie. Uznano, że zachodzą istotne powiązania między zbawczym misterium, jego liturgiczną celebracją oraz życiem chrześcijańskim. Nie sposób tego rozdzielać, w przeciwnym razie - jak podkreślał Parsch - nie ma mowy o właściwym i pełnym uczestnictwie wiernych w prezentowanych w Eucharystii tajemnicach zbawczych, misterium, począwszy od Wcielenia i Narodzenia, aż do Wniebowstąpienia, Zesłania Ducha Świętego oraz oczekiwania na powtórne przyjście Chrystusa Pana. Parsch, przedstawiając poszczególne okresy roku liturgicznego, wskazywał na istotne treści danych dni, ze szczególnym zwróceniem uwagi na święta i uroczystości. Prawie każde jego pouczenie zakończone jest ustępem na temat wielkiego znaczenia Eucharystii w życiu chrześcijan. Wskazywał, że z uwagi na ułomność ludzkiej natury, skłonność do grzechu każdy chrześcijanin potrzebuje wsparcia duchowego, bowiem stale ma do czynienia z pokusami Szatana, który odwodzi od prawdy i światłości, kierując na manowce życia. Odrodzenie i to wsparcie duchowe można - zdaniem austriackiego liturgisty - znaleźć jedynie poprzez uczestnictwo we Mszy Świętej, bowiem wszystko ma swoje korzenie w liturgii, wynika z niej, a przede wszystkim prowadzi do niej. Parsch, posługując się wieloma obrazami czy porównaniami, próbował wydobyć głębszy sens poszczególnych elementów liturgii, wskazując na bogactwo ich treści. Przypominał, że liturgia jest „niezmiennym” skarbcem Kościoła, bowiem we wspólnocie łatwiej jest kształtować nową świadomości duchową wszystkich wierzących, którzy czepią z tego skarbca kultu rzeczy stare i nowe.

The analysis of the dissertation is based on a single work by Parsch, The Liturgical Year, comprising as many as ca. 1500 pp., which nevertheless represents a summary of all that he wished to communicate to the faithful, with his proper pastoral commitment and concern. The work is presented according to the key: Mystery - Celebration - Life. It was recognised that there are important links between the sacred mystery, its liturgical celebration and the Christian life. It is impossible to separate these, otherwise - as Parsch emphasised - there can be no proper and full participation of the faithful in the salvific mysteries presented in the Mass, the mystery, from the Incarnation and Nativity to the Ascension, Pentecost and the expectation of the Second Coming of Christ the Lord. In presenting the various periods of the liturgical year, Parsch pointed out the essential content of the particular days, with special attention to feasts and solemnities. Almost each of his instructions ended with a paragraph on the great importance of the Eucharist in the life of Christians. He pointed out that, because of the weakness of human nature, the tendency to sin, every Christian needs spiritual support, because he is constantly confronted with the temptations of Satan, who diverts him from the truth and the light, leading him on the wrong path of life. According to the Austrian liturgist, revival and this spiritual support can only be found through participation in the Mass, since everything has its roots in the liturgy, arises from it and, above all, leads to it. Parsch, using many images or comparisons, tried to bring out the deeper meaning of the individual elements of the liturgy, pointing to the richness of their content. He reminded us that the liturgy is the 'unchanging' treasury of the Church, since in community it is easier to form a new spiritual consciousness of all believers, who draw from this treasury things old and new.
