Kategoria trickstera w Królu-Duchu Juliusza Słowackiego

Abstract

Celem dysertacji jest próba rozpoznania, czy w Królu-Duchu obecna jest kategoria trickstera. Posługuję się w tytule pojęciem "kategoria trickstera", ponieważ traktuję tę nazwę nie tylko jako nazwę konkretnej postaci, lecz także jako konstrukt rzeczywistości. Termin ten na gruncie polskim, szczególnie w badaniach z zakresu psychologii i antropologii, pojawia się za sprawą recepcji dzieł Carla G. Junga, który widzi w tricksetrze jeden z archetypów; a także Mircei Eliadego, który podobnie jak Jung, interpretuje tę postać jako jeden z typów bohaterów mitologicznych. Praca obejmuje trzy rozdziały. Rozdział drugi i trzeci ukazują różne sposoby realizacji kategorii trickstera w Królu-Duchu Juliusza Słowackiego. W rozdziale pierwszym niniejszej pracy staram się wykazać, w jaki sposób rozumiem kategorię trickstera, Odwołuję się m.in. do mitologii (w szczególności greckiej i nordyckiej, a także postaci tricksterskich występujących w popkulturze. W rozdziale drugim poddaję analizie pod kątem wspomnianej kategorii bohaterów Króla-Ducha, przy czym traktuję Króla-Ducha jako jeden byt, który manifestuje się w wielu formach na przestrzeni wieków. Rozdział trzeci poświęciłam Pysze, bohaterce rapsodu II. Interpretację bohaterki Księgi Legend pod kątem kategorii trickstera opieram na pracach Arpada Szakalczaiego, który analizuje tricksterów w konetkście liminalności, widząc w nich dyktatorów i fałszywych proroków.

The purpose of dissertation is an attempt to recognize if the trickster category is present in The Spirit King. I use the term "trickster category" in the title because I treat this name not only as a specific character, but also as a construct of reality. This notion, especially in research in the field of psychology and anthropology, appears much later in Poland and only due to the reception of works by Carl G. Jung,w ho sees the trickster as one of the archetypes; and also Mircea Eliade, who, like Jung, interprets this character as one of the types of mythological heroes. The dissertation consists of three chapters. The second and third chapters present different approaches to implementing the trickster category in Juliusz Słowacki's The Spirit King. In the first chapter of this paper, the goal is to propose my understanding of the trickster category. I refer, among others, to mythology (in particular Greek and Nordic), as well as some trickster characters appearing in pop culture. In the second chapter, I analyze the aforementioned category of The Spirit King heroes, and I treat The Spirit King as a single entity that has manifested itself in many forms over the centuries. I devoted the third chapter to Pycha, the heroine of Rapsodium II. The interpretation of the heroine of the Book of Legends in terms of the trickster category is based on the work of Arpad Szakalczi, seeing them as dictators and false prophets.
