dc.description.abstractW medialnym przekazie o pandemii Covid-19 dominował strach. Autorki analizują tę emocję w wybranych publikacjach prasowych oraz audycjach radiowych, przede wszystkim z 2020 roku. Koncentrują się na przekazie słownym realizowanym na poziomie języka pisanego i mówionego. Stawiają sobie następujące pytania badawcze: Jak definiowany jest strach? Poprzez jakie środki językowe jest wyrażany? Na jakich poziomach można wskazać różnice pomiędzy komunikatami zawartymi w tekstach pisanych a formułowanymi w języku mówionym? Autorki próbują tym samym zrekonstruować medialny mechanizm afektywnej konstrukcji przekazu, którego podstawą jest eksponowanie poczucia zagrożenia. Fear dominated the media coverage of the Covid-19 pandemic. The authors of the paper analyze this emotion in selected press publications and radio broadcasts, mainly from 2020. They focus on the verbal communication carried out at the level of written and spoken language. They ask themselves the following research questions: How is fear defined? By what linguistic means is it expressed? At what levels can you identify the differences between instant messaging included in written texts and those formulated in spoken language? The authors of the paper try to reconstruct the media mechanism of the affective structure of the message, the basis of which is to emphasize the sense of threat.
