Abstract
Artykuł prezentuje wyniki badania socjologicznego zrealizowanego przez Zespół Pracowni Badawczej Polski Pomiar Postaw i Wartości noszącego tytuł: „Młodzież akademicka o rodzinie i religii 2020”. W wielowątkowym narzędziu badawczym jeden z segmentów tematycznych dotyczył relacji zachodzących w rodzinach badanych osób, inny zaś stosunku do nowych form studiowania, wymuszonych przez pandemię, i płynących stąd dydaktycznych konsekwencji. Opracowanie przedstawia współczesną kondycję polskiej rodziny wobec sytuacji pandemicznej, a jednocześnie trwających procesów modernizacji społecznej oraz kulturowej. Mając na względzie to, iż w warunkach dynamicznej zmiany społecznej zagrożone są wartości prorodzinne, a przy tym kwestionowane są tradycyjne wartości i normy chroniące rodzinę, przywołane zostały dodatkowo wyniki kilku badań z tego zakresu. Okazuje się, że czas pandemii nie tylko może wywoływać potrzebę zwolnienia tempa życia i skupienie się na najbliższych, wśród których można aktywnie i kreatywnie spędzać czas, lecz także wymuszać nowe formy życia akademickiego. Niektórym odpowiada takie wymuszone odcięcie się od świata, inni zaś tęsknią za życiem akademickim, a przy tym dla niektórych studiowanie zdalne okazuje się bardziej wydajne niż to tradycyjne. Zrealizowane badanie i przedstawienie jego wyników jest aktualną diagnozą kondycji świadomości młodzieży studiującej na temat rodziny i życia akademickiego. W przyszłości pozwoli odpowiedzieć na pytanie, w jakim stopniu warunki pandemii miały charakter trwały, w jakim zaś tylko przejściowy, uwarunkowany swoistą traumą społeczną i kulturową.
This work presents the results of sociological research carried out by the staff of the Polish Research Laboratory for the Assessment of Attitudes and Values. Its title is “University Students on Family and Religion 2020.” Within the multi-stranded research applications, one thematic segment pertained to the relationships within the families of those surveyed, and another to the attitudes towards new methods of study forced on them by the pandemic and the subsequent didactic consequences. The work presents the present circumstances of the Polish family in face of the pandemic. It also presents the ongoing processes of modernisation both socially and culturally. Bearing in mind that in times of dynamic social change pro family values are under threat, and traditional values and standards which protect the family are questioned, some further studies in this field have been referred to. Results show that the pandemic can not only create the need for a slower pace of life, more focus on our nearest with whom we can spend time actively and creatively, but it can also force new patterns of university life. Such forced seclusion suits some while others miss university life. For some, remote learning turns out to be more effective than traditional methods. The completed research, and its results, represent the current diagnosis of the level of awareness of university students on the subject of family and university life. In the future it will answer the question whether conditions during the pandemic left a lasting, or a temporary, impression, affected by specific social and cultural trauma.
