| dc.description.abstract | Troska o rozwój patriotyzmu jako postawy aktywnego angażowania się w poznawanie i rozwój dziedzictwa narodowego jest moralnym obowiązkiem chrześcijanina wypływającym z cnoty sprawiedliwości. Otwierając się na potrzeby innych członków wspólnoty narodowej, człowiek poszerza swoje horyzonty i rozwija talenty otrzymane od Boga. Patriotyzm obejmuje element poznawczy, uczuciowy i wolitywny, które pozwalają na integralne włączanie się w strzeżenie i rozwijanie duchowego i materialnego dziedzictwa własnej kultury. Rozwój cnoty miłości i sprawiedliwości jest ważnym wkładem w budowanie kapitału społecznego, który ma wymiar osobowy i obejmuje duchowy potencjał osób tworzących daną wspólnotę narodową. Wśród działań promujących patriotyzm w czasie pokoju należy wskazać angażowanie się w życie polityczne przez udział w wyborach i aktywność obywatelską oraz troskę o kulturę, gospodarkę i środowisko naturalne. Inwestowanie we własnym kraju, płacenie podatków i pozostawanie w ojczyźnie przyczyniają się do rozwoju wspólnoty narodowej. Care for the development of patriotism as an attitude of active involvement in learning about and development of national heritage is a Christian’s moral duty stemming from the virtue of justice. Opening to the needs of other members of the national community, man broadens his horizons and develops talents received from God. Patriotism includes a cognitive, emotional and volitional element that allows us to integrate ourselves into guarding and developing the spiritual and material heritage of our own culture. The development of the virtue of love and justice is an important contribution to building social capital, which has a personal dimension and includes the spiritual potential of people creating a given national community. Among the activities promoting patriotism in time of peace, one should indicate involvement in political life through participation in elections and civic activity as well as concern for culture, economy and natural environment. | |
