Rękopiśmienne potrydenckie kancjonały oo. paulinów na Jasnej Górze jako świadectwo ich ówczesnej kultury liturgiczno-muzycznej

Abstract

Przedmiotem niniejszej rozprawy jest próba przedstawienia kultury liturgiczno-muzycznej oo. paulinów na Jasnej Gorze w świetle zachowanych rękopiśmiennych kancjonałow z XVIII i XIX wieku. W celu zrealizowania tematu, pracę podzieloni na trzy rozdziały. W pierwszym przedstawiono charakterystkę źródeł podstawowych, która objęła opis zewnętrzny wszystkich rękopisów, sylwetki autorów i kopistów kancjonałow oraz cechy paleograficzne pisma łacińskiego i muzycznego. Część tę dopełnia opis zawartości. W rozdziale drugim omówiono repertuar oraz porządek wybranych obrzędów opisanych w kancjonałach jasnogórskich. Studium repertuaru pozwoliło także w pewnym stopniu ukazać miejsce chorału gregoriańskiego w liturgii na Jasnej Górze. W ostatni rozdziale przeprowadzono analizę ,uzyczną wybranych śpiewów. W pierwszej kolejności omówiono utwory powwszechnie znane, zaliczane do repertuaru obrzędów i procesji Wielkiego Tygodnia. Następnie przebadano śpiewy zakwalifikowane jako paulińskie. Zwrócono ponadto uwagę na stylistykę kompozycji oraz wpływ melodyki chorałowej i zdobyczy muzyki współczesnej na kształt repertuaru kancjonałów. Pracę dopełniają dwa aneksy, zawierające kolejno: wykaz wszystkich śpiewów zaopatrzonych w meleodia (Aneks !) oraz faksymile wybranych kart kancjonałow (Aneks 2).The subject of this dissertation is an attempt to present the liturgical and musical culture of the Pauline Fathers in Jasna Góra in the light of the preserved handwritten hymnaries from the 18th and 19th centuries. In order to pursue the subject, the paper is divided into three chapters. The first one presents the characteristics of the basic sources, which included the external description of all manuscripts, the profiles of the authors and copyists of the hymnals and the palaeographic features of Latin and musical writing. This part is complemented by a review of the content of the studied collections. The second chapter discusses the repertoire and the order of selected rituals described in the hymnaries of Jasna Góra. The study of the repertoire also made it possible to show to some extent the place of the Gregorian chant in the liturgy in Jasna Góra. In the last chapter, a musical analysis of selected chants was conducted. The first to be discussed were the well-known songs, included in the repertoire of rites and processions of the Holy Week. Moreover, the chants qualified as belonging to the repertoire of Pauline origin were also studied. Special attention was paid to the stylistics of the composition and the influence of the choral melody and the achievements of contemporary music on the style of the hymnal repertoire. The work is complemented by two appendices, containing, respectively: a list of all chants with melodies ( Appendix I) and facsimiles of selected hymnal cards ( Appendix II).
