dc.description.abstract	Artykuł bada wczesnochrześcijańskie rozumienie płciowości na podstawie 1 Kor 11,2–16. Autor rozpoczyna od ukazania związku badanego fragmentu z myślą Pawła w 1 Liście do Koryntian, po czym prezentuje jego schemat recytatywny i retoryczny. Według niego 1 Kor 11,2 pełni rolę wstępu, po którym Paweł stawia tezę (11,3) na temat relacji pierwszeństwa i różnic między mężczyzną i kobietą, dla których wzorem jest relacja Boga i Chrystusa. Apostoł rozwija swoją tezę w serii trzech argumentów, które mają wymiar kulturowy (11,4–6), chrystologiczno-teologiczny (11,7–12) oraz związany z prawem naturalnym (11,13–15). W każdym z nich argumentuje za utrzymaniem różnic płciowych, które są dla mężczyzny i kobiety konieczne dla wypełnienia ich ról społecznych, bycia świadkiem objawienia Bożego, pełnego przeżywania swojej egzystencji i respektowania porządku natury. Całość argumentacji Pawła okala wstęp i zakończenie o charakterze eklezjalnym, sugerując, że od właściwego przeżywania płciowości zależy dobro i jedność wspólnoty Kościoła.	pl
dc.description.abstract	The article examines the early Christian understanding of sexuality in 1 Cor 11:2-16. The author begins by showing the connection of the fragment under examination with Paul’s thought in the First Letter to the Corinthians, and then presents its oral and rhetorical composition. According to the presented outline, 1 Cor 11:2 serves as the introduction, after which Paul puts forward his thesis (11:3) on the relation of priority and respect for differences which should characterize the relationship between man and woman. The pattern for such a relationship is the communion between God and Christ. Subsequently, the apostle develops his thesis in a series of three arguments labeled as cultural (11:4-6), Christologico-theological (11:7-12) and based on natural law (11:13-15). In each of them, he argues for maintaining gender differences, which are necessary for men and women to fulfill their social roles, to be witnesses of God's revelation, to experience in fullness their relationship and to respect the order of nature. The whole of Paul's arguments is framed in the ecclesiastical introduction and ending, suggesting that the proper experience of sexuality is vital for the good and unity of the Church’s community.	pl
