| dc.description.abstract | Rozprawa doktorska pt. "Terroryzm motywowany religijnie jako problem moralny" podejmuje zagadnienie moralnych aspektów terroryzmu motywowanego religijnie w szerokim kontekście historycznym i kulturowo-społecznym. Kluczowymi kwestiami badawczymi były ocena terroryzmu motywowanego religijnie oraz odpowiedź na pytanie o zależność między pięcioma wielkimi religiami a agresją, przemocą i terrorem. Ocena moralna terroryzmu została przeprowadzona w oparciu o klasyczne dla refleksji teologicznomoralnej i etycznospołecznej kryteria, do których należą godność osoby ludzkiej i prawa człowieka, wolność religijna, zasady życia społecznego wypracowane na kanwie katolickiej nauki społecznej, a także zasada obrony koniecznej. W ostatniej części rozprawy ukazano drogi i sposoby przeciwdziałania terroryzmowi motywowanemu religijnie, a także rolę Kościoła katolickiego jako promotora pokoju. Ze względu na teologicznomoralny profil badań podstawowy aparat źródłowy badań stanowiło nauczanie społeczne Kościoła dotyczące przede wszystkim godności osoby ludzkiej, wolności religijnej oraz podstawowych praw człowieka. Ważnym źródłem o charakterze normatywnym było także prawodawstwo międzynarodowe oraz krajowe, w tym wybrane akty prawa międzynarodowego dotyczące praw człowieka, jak również uregulowania prawne związane ze zwalczaniem terroryzmu. Struktura rozprawy obejmuje cztery rozdziały. The doctoral dissertation entitled "Religiously motivated terrorism as a moral problem" deals w ith the moral aspects of religiously motivated terrorism in a broad historical, cultural and social context. The key research issues encompassed the assessment of religiously motivated terrorism and the answer to the question about the relationship between the five great religions and aggression, violence and terror. The moral assessment of terrorism was carried out on the grounds of the criteria typical for theological-moral and ethical-social reflection, such as human dignity and human rights, religious freedom, the principles of social life developed on the basis of Catholic social teaching, as well as the principle of necessary self-defense. The last part of the dissertation depicts the ways and means of countering religiously motivated terrorism, as well as the role of the Catholic Church as a promoter of peace. Due to the theological and moral profile of the research, the basic source of material for the research was the social teaching of the Church concerning, above all the human dignity, religious freedom and fundamental human rights. A vital normative source was also the international and national legislation, including selected acts of international law on human rights, as well as legal regulations related to combating terrorism.
