Realizacja funkcji charytatywnej w diecezji siedleckiej w latach 1945-2018
Abstract
W niniejszej rozprawie została ukazana realizacja funkcji charytatywnej w diecezji siedleckiej w latach 1945-2018. Oprócz refleksji teologicznej i historycznej nad istotą działalności charytatywnej Kościoła został ukazany całokształt posługi miłosierdzia na terenie diecezji siedleckiej na tle kontekstu historycznego, społecznego i religijnego. Rozprawa składa się z czterech rozdziałów. W pierwszym rozdziale zostały ukazane podstawy biblijne i teologiczne działalności charytatywnej. Następnie został ukazany rozwój posługi miłosierdzia w historii Kościoła. W drugim rozdziale zostały ukazane uwarunkowania działalności charytatywnej w diecezji siedleckiej. Duży wpływ na rozwój posługi miłosierdzia miały okoliczności powstania diecezji, następnie kasaty i wskrzeszenia jej struktur. W trzecim rozdziale zostały zaprezentowane instytucje charytatywne i dobroczynne na terenie diecezji siedleckiej w okresie PRL. W czwartym rozdziale została ukazana działalność charytatywna na terenie diecezji siedleckiej po transformacji ustrojowej w 1989 r. Została opisana pomoc świadczona osobom doświadczającym nagłych zdarzeń losowych, posługa charytatywna względem chorych i osób z niepełną sprawnością, liczne formy działalności charytatywnej względem osób wykluczonych społecznie, pomoc okazywana uzależnionym, doświadczającym przemocy, bezdomnym i więźniom. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na pomoc świadczoną dzieciom i młodzieży. W zakończeniu rozprawy zostały zawarte istotne postulaty i wnioski pastoralne.
The dissertation shows the implementation of the charity function in the Siedlce diocese in the years 1945-2018. In the addition to the theological and historical reflection on the essence of the Church's charity work, the entirety of the ministry of mercy in the Siedlce diocese was presented against the background of the historical, social and religious context. The dissertation consists of four chapters. The first chapter presents the biblical and theological foundations of charity work. The development of the ministry of mercy in the history of the Church was shown. The second chapter presents the conditions of charity work in the Diocese of Siedlce. The circumstances of establishing the diocese, its dissolution and resurrection of its structures had a great influence on the development of the ministry of mercy. The third chapter presents charitable and philanthropic institutions in the Siedlce diocese during the Polish People's Republic. The fourth chapter presents charity work in the Diocese of Siedlce after the political transformation in 1989. It describes the help provided to people experiencing sudden random events, charity service for the sick and people with disabilities, numerous forms of charity work for socially excluded people, help for addicts, persons experiencing violence, the homeless and prisoners. Particular attention was paid to the help provided to children and adolescents. At the end of the dissertation, important postulates and pastoral conclusions were included.
