dc.description.abstractCelem pracy było ustalenie uwarunkowań potrzeby poznania (wśród temperamentu inteligencji emocjonalnej oraz retrospektywnie spostrzeganych postaw rodzicielskich) oraz opisanie jej specyfiki w wymiarze behawioralnym, emocjonalnym, metapoznawczym oraz temporalnym u osób z wysokimi osiągnięciami edukacyjnymi. Próbę stanowili stypenduściMinistra Nauki szkolnictwa Wyższego oraz grupa porównawcza, łącznie 207 studentów i doktorantów różnych kierunków studiów. Do zbadania poszczególnych zmiennych użyto kwestionariuszy. Wyniki badań w grupie stypendystów dowiodły istnienia relacji między aktywnością, wytrzymałością oraz reaktywnością emocjonalną; wynikiem ogólnym inteligencji emocjonalnej oraz wszystkimi jej wymiarami oraz braku korelacji ze spostrzeganymi postawami rodzicielskimi. Analizy ujawniły najsilniejsze predykatory potrzeby poznania: aktywność, ogólny poziom IE spostrzeganą niekonsekwencję ze strony matki. Wykazano, że osoby z wysokimi osiągnięciami osiągają wyższe wyniki w zakresie potrzeby poznania niż osoby z grupy porównawczej. Otrzymane wyniki potwierdzają większość ustaleń teoretycznych dotyczących funkcjonowania osób z dużą potrzebą poznania.pl
dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study was to verify if the need for cognition is associated with other explanatory psychosocial variables: temperament, emotional intelligence and retrospectively perceived parental attitudes. The sample posed people with high educational achievements (scholars of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education) and comparative group. It was characterized the NFC in four aspects: behavioral, emotional, metacognitive and temporal. This study was conducted on a sample of 207 students or doctoral students of various fields of study. There were used questionnaires to measure particular variables. The results of the study in a group of scholars have proved the existence of a relationship between the NFC with temperamental activity, endurance and emotional reactivity; general level of emotional intelligence and all its dimensions and no significant relationships between the NFC and perceived parental attitudes. The analyzes revealed the strongest predictors of main variable (the NFC): overall emotional intelligence score, temperamental activity and perceived mother inconsistency. It has been shown that people with educational achievements achieve higher results in terms of the level of NFC than people from the comparative group. The obtained results confirm the majority of theoretical findings related to the functioning of people with a high NFC.pl
