Abstract
Celem dysertacji było ukazanie posiadanego obrazu Boga u maturzystów diecezji tarnowskiej. Postawione zadanie zostało zrealizowane poprzez analizę literatury zagadnienia oraz ilościową i jakościową analizę uzyskanych wyników badań empirycznej. Postawiony problem badawczy został przeanalizowany w sześciu rozdziałach dysertacji.
We wstępie została zarysowana podjęta w pracy problematyka badawcza jak również uzasadnienie tematu, przedstawiony dotychczasowy stan opracowań, omówione zostały źródła, metody badawcze i struktura rozprawy.
Rozdział pierwszy przedstawia wyjaśnienie kluczowego dla tej pracy pojęcia: „obraz Boga”. Zostały zaprezentowane rozbudowane definicje z zakresu psychologii i psychologii religii. Kolejno zawiera zarysowanie chrześcijańskiego obrazu Boga zawartego w Credo. Dalszej części rozdziału pierwszego przybliżona została specyfika badanej grupy (rozwój fizyczny, psychiczny, społeczny, emocjonalny i moralny).
Drugi rozdział pracy poświęcony został ukazaniu współczesnych uwarunkowań społeczno-kulturowych takich jak pluralizm kulturowy i postmodernizm jako tych, które mają wpływ na obraz Boga. W dalszej części rozdziału została dokonana analiza religijności młodzieży polskiej, uwzględniając jej charakterystyczne cechy i aktualną kondycję religijno-moralną w świetle wyników badań socjologicznych. Rozdział kończy nakreślenie środowisk katechetycznych kształtujących obraz Boga u młodzieży maturalnej (szkolne nauczanie religii, katecheza parafialna oraz katecheza we wspólnotach).
W rozdziale trzecim została omówiona problematyka i metodologia podjętych badań. Przedstawiony został problem badawczy, problemy szczegółowe, hipotezy oraz program badań empirycznych. W tym rozdziale znajduje się opis autorskiego kwestionariusza ankiety: „Mój obraz Boga”. Posłużył on zebraniu istotnych danych empirycznych, które przyczyniły się do scharakteryzowania posiadanego obrazu Boga u młodzieży, a także wskazania niektórych warunkujących go czynników.
Rozdział czwarty zawiera analizę ilościową i jakościową wyników badań na temat obrazu Boga, przeprowadzonych wśród maturzystów diecezji tarnowskiej. Analiza ta uwzględnia: przedmiotowy obraz Boga, podmiotowy obraz Boga, relacyjny obraz Boga.
Rozdział piąty jest kontynuacją prowadzonych badań. Zostały w nim zaprezentowane czynniki warunkujące posiadany obraz Boga (relacje pomiędzy rodzicami a młodzieżą, związek, jaki posiadają rodzice osób badanych, wykształcenie rodziców, uczestnictwo w lekcjach religii, styl wychowania panujący w domu, częstotliwość praktyk sakramentalnych, przynależność do organizacji społecznych i religijnych, a także sytuacja materialna rodziny i jej liczebność). Do prezentacji uzyskanych wyników posłużyły tabele krzyżowe.
W ostatnim rozdziale zostały poddane weryfikacji przyjęte hipotezy. W syntetyczny sposób zostały zaprezentowane wyniki badań i ich interpretacja w świetle literatury i wcześniejszych badań, poruszających analizowany temat. W ostatniej części rozdziału zostały zaprezentowane możliwe implikacje uzyskanych wyników badań, które mogą posłużyć do wypracowania konkretnych form propozycji katechetycznych dla młodzieży kończącej etap edukacji religijnej.
Zakończenie rozprawy zawiera podsumowujące wnioski jak również przydatność rozważanej problematyki dla życia Kościoła w Polsce, w szczególności dla nauczania religii w szkole oraz nakreślenie perspektywy dalszych badań
The aim of the dissertation was to show the image of God in the graduates of the diocese of Tarnów. The set task was accomplished by analyzing the literature of the issue as well as quantitative and qualitative analysis of the obtained results of empirical research. The research problem put forward was analyzed in six chapters. In the introduction, the research issues as well as the rationale of the subject, the current state of studies, the sources, the research methods and the structure of the dissertation were outlined. The first chapter presents an explanation of the key concept for this work: "the image of God." Extensive definitions in the field of psychology and psychology of religion have been presented. It then contains a sketch of the Christian image of God contained in the Creed. The specifics of the studied group (physical, psychological, social, emotional and moral development) have been approximated in the further part of the first chapter. The second chapter of the work is devoted to the presentation of contemporary socio-cultural conditions such as cultural pluralism and postmodernism as those that influence the image of God. In the further part of the chapter, an analysis of the religiousness of Polish youth has been made, considering its characteristic features and the current religious and moral condition in the light of the results of sociological research. The chapter ends with the sketching of catechetical environments shaping the image of God in matriculation youth (school teaching of religion, parish catechesis and catechesis in communities). The third chapter discusses the issues and methodology of the undertaken research. The research problem, specific problems, hypotheses and the empirical research program have been presented. This chapter contains a description of the original questionnaire: "My image of God". It served to collect relevant empirical data that contributed to the characterization of the image of God in adolescents, as well as to indicate some of the factors determining it. The fourth chapter contains a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the results of research on the image of God carried out among the graduates of the diocese of Tarnów. This analysis considers: the objective image of God, the subjective image of God, the relational image of God. The fifth chapter is a continuation of the research. It presents the determinants of the image of God (relations between parents and youth, the relationship parents have, parents’ education, participation in religious education, style of upbringing at home, frequency of sacramental practices, affiliation to social and religious organizations and also family's material situation and its size). The cross-tabulations were used to present the obtained results. In the last chapter, the accepted hypotheses have been verified. The results of the research and their interpretation have been presented in a synthetic way in the light of literature and earlier studies that addressed the analyzed topic. In the last part of the chapter, the possible implications of the obtained research results have been presented, which can be used to develop specific forms of catechetical proposals for young people ending the stage of religious education. The end of the dissertation contains summary conclusions as well as the usefulness of the issues discussed for the life of the Church in Poland, in particular for teaching religion at school and outlining the prospects for further research.
