Abstract
Artykuł odpowiada na pytania, jaki jest punkt wyjścia formacji nauczyciela religii do szkoły specjalnej? Jak wpisuje się ta posługa w misję eklezjalną, podczas której staje się katechetą osób z różnymi niepełnosprawnościami? Katecheta specjalny podczas studiów teologicznych nabiera przekonania, że pomimo rozwijającej się świadomości społecznej i niewątpliwego postępu pedagogiki specjalnej będzie włączony w długofalowy proces obrony praw osób niepełnosprawnych, od momentu poczęcia, aż do naturalnej śmierci. Jest on powołany i przygotowany do odważnego działania we wspólnocie chrześcijańskiej, aby katecheza z konieczności specjalistyczna nie została zepchnięta na margines duszpasterstwa specjalistycznego.
The article answers the questions what is the starting point of the formation of a religion teacher for a special school? How does this ministry fit into the ecclesial mission, during which he or she becomes a catechist for persons with various disabilities? During his theological studies, the special catechist becomes convinced that, in spite of the developing social awareness and the undoubted progress of special pedagogy, he will be involved in the long-term process of defending the rights of persons with disabilities, from the moment of conception until natural death. He or she is called and prepared to act courageously in the Christian community, so that necessarily specialised catechesis is not relegated to the margins of specialised pastoral care.
