Le sens spirituel et son actualité en perspective théologico-fondamentale selon Henri de Lubac

Abstract

The spiritual interpretation of the Bible and the spiritual sense of God’s Word is one of the most important problems of the theological research by Henri de Lubac. The French theologian was convinced that spiritual reading is still valid in the context of critical research on the Bible. In the present article, the author indicates the reasons for which Henri de Lubac argued for the topicality of this kind of exegesis. Building on these premises, some conclusions will be drawn on the theological basis of the spiritual exegesis, on the specificity of such reading of the Bible, and on the possibility of its critical verification.

Zagadnienie duchowej interpretacji Pisma Świętego oraz jego sensu duchowego, którego tu się poszukuje, stanowi jeden z najważniejszych problemów teologicznych badań Henriego de Lubaca. Francuski teolog zajął się tą tematyką, przekonany, że jest ona nadal aktualna w kontekście krytycznych badań nad Pismem. W niniejszym artykule autor przywołuje racje, dla których de Lubac znaczną część swego dorobku teologicznego poświęcił właśnie temu zagadnieniu, i wyjaśnia, dlaczego był on przekonany o aktualności tej egzegezy. Następnie formułuje wnioski o charakterze teologicznofundamentalnym, a więc dotyczące teologicznych podstaw takiej egzegezy, specyfiki poznania, które jest możliwe dzięki odczytaniu sensu duchowego Pisma, oraz możliwości krytycznej weryfikacji takiej lektury.
