Abstract
Het PhD proefschrift getiteld: Poolse equivalenten van het Nederlandse worden- en zijn-passief in geselecteerde literaire werken en hun vertalingen presenteert het worden-passief en het zijn-passief in het Nederlands en het passief in het Pools, evenals andere structuren die weliswaar formeel actief zijn, maar worden gebruikt bij vertalingen van Nederlandse passiva. Procentuele data tonen aan dat het worden-passief in het bestudeerde tekstcorpus domineert, wat in vertalingen vooral wordt weergegeven met actieve vormen. In aflopende frequentie komen in de vertalingen het pseudoreflexivum, de onpersoonlijke constructie met -no, -to en de derde persoon meervoud en passieve syntactische constructies, waaronder elliptische, voor. Een marginaal aantal betreft de non-agentieve constructie op -ło. Aan de andere kant komt het zijn-passief veel minder vaak voor. Nederlandse constructies met zijn worden in vertaling meestal weergegeven door middel van een equivalente structuur, dat wil zeggen het Poolse passief, vaak in elliptische vorm. Bovendien hebben we in volgorde van aflopende frequentie vertaling waargenomen met actief, met de onpersoonlijke constructie op -no, -to, de derde persoon meervoud, vormen op -ło, en pseudoreflexiva. Een onpersoonlijk passief komt zelden voor en wordt in het Pools nooit als passief of een onpersoonlijke constructie vertaald.

Dane procentowe pokazują, że w badanym korpusie tekstów przeważa strona bierna z worden, która w tłumaczeniach głównie oddawana jest za pomocą form strony czynnej. W następnej kolejności pod względem częstotliwości występowania w tłumaczeniach zajmują pseudoreflexivum, bezosobniki z -no, -to i trzecia osoba liczby mnogiej oraz wypowiedzenia bierne, w tym eliptyczne. Marginalna ilość przypada na konstrukcję nieagentywną z -ło. Natomiast strona bierna z zijn występuje dużo rzadziej. Wypowiedzenia niderlandzkie z zijn w większości są oddawane w tłumaczeniach za pomocą równorzędnej konstrukcji, czyli polskiej strony biernej, często przybierającej postać eliptyczną. Ponadto w kolejności pod względem częstotliwości użycia odnotowano stronę czynną, bezosobniki z -no, -to, trzecią osobę liczby mnogiej, formy z -ło, pseudoreflexiva. Strona bierna nieosobowa występuje rzadko i nigdy w języku polskim nie jest oddawana przy pomocy strony biernej osobowej bądź nieosobowej.
The PhD thesis titled: Polish equivalents of Dutch worden- and zijn-passive forms in selected literary works and their translations presents the worden- and zijn-passive in Dutch and the passive in Polish, as well as other structures that are in Polish formally active but are used to translate of Dutch passive constructions. Percentage data show that the worden-passive dominates in the studied text corpus, which is represented in translations mainly with active Polish forms. In decreasing frequency the translations include the pseudoreflexivum, the impersonal construction with -no, -to and the third person plural and other passive syntactic constructions, including elliptical ones. A marginal number concerns the non-agentive construction on -ło. On the other hand, the zijn-passive is much less common. Dutch constructions with zijn are usually represented in translation by means of an equivalent structure, i. e. the Polish passive, often in elliptical form. Moreover, in order of descending frequency we have observed translation with active, with the impersonal construction on -no, -to, the third person plural, forms on -ło, and pseudoreflexiva. An impersonal passive is rare and is never translated as a passive or an impersonal construction in Polish.
