Abstract
Rozprawa pokazuje wielokulturowy dorobek tradycji unickiej w historii różnych narodów Europy Wschodniej i Środkowej.
Established as a result of the Brześć Union (1596), the Uniate Church was the result of the incorporation of the Ruthenian Church into the Catholic Church. Only the Ukrainian Uniate tradition has survived at present. It is often forgotten about its impact on Polish and Russian culture. This dissertation shows the multicultural achievements of the Uniate tradition in the history of various nations of Eastern and Central Europe.
