Abstract
Biopolityka jest nowym, a zarazem coraz częściej współcześnie podnoszonym zagadnieniem. W dysertacji została podjęta próba jej scharakteryzowania. Pierwszą cześć pracy stanowi opis genezy i istoty biopolityki, przedstawienie jej głównych interpretacji, a także zakreślenie obszarów, w których jest ona realizowana w sposób najbardziej widoczny. Drugi rozdział pracy to analiza filozoficznych i kulturowo społecznych założeń i przejawów biopolityki. Główna uwaga została tu skierowana na wpływ postmodernizmu na to zjawisko. Ostatnia, trzecia część dysertacji stanowi założone novum pracy, to próba konceptualizacji biopolityki katolickiej. Miała ona na celu odpowiedź na pytanie, czy możliwa jest taka biopolityka, która będzie zgodna z założeniami Magisterium, z jednoczesnym zachowaniem właściwych kompetencji. Podstawę podjętej próby stanowiło sięgnięcie do nauk teologicznych, szczególnie do teologii dogmatycznej, nauczania społecznego Kościoła i bioetyki.
Biopolitics is a new and at the same time more and more frequently raised issue. In the dissertation an attempt was made to characterize it. The first part of the work is a description of the origins and essence of biopolitics, the presentation of its main interpretations, as well as the delineation of areas in which it is implemented in the most visible way. The second chapter of the study is the analysis of philosophical and cultural social assumptions and manifestations of biopolitics. The main focus here is on the impact of postmodernism on this phenomenon. The last, third part of the dissertation is the assumed novum of the work, it is an attempt to conceptualize Catholic biopolitics. It was aimed at answering the question of whether such biopolitics are possible, which will be consistent with the assumptions of the Magisterium, while maintaining the appropriate competences. The basis of the attempt was the use of theological sciences, especially dogmatic theology, social teaching of the Church and bioethics.
