Abstract
Przedmiotem rozprawy doktorskiej jest zbadanie genezy zasady zrównoważonego rozwoju oraz określenie statusu nowo wyłonionego principium w systemie zasad etyczno-społecznych katolickiej nauki społecznej. Praca składa się z pięciu rozdziałów. Najpierw skoncentrowano się na integralnej, dynamicznej koncepcji człowieka stanowiącej fundament systemu zasad etyczno-społecznych. Następnie przeanalizowano proces wyłaniania się zasad etyczno-społecznych, leżących u podstaw postulowanego ładu społeczno-gospodarczego. Trzeci rozdział poświęcono społeczno-gospodarczym uwarunkowaniom kształtowania się idei zrównoważonego rozwoju, zmierzając do pełniejszego wyjaśnienia kwestii ekologicznej w perspektywie aksjologii charakteryzującej współczesne społeczeństwa. W kolejnym rozdziale skoncentrowano się na analizie aktualnych ujęć zrównoważonego rozwoju, zwracając szczególną uwagę na różne nurty etyk środowiskowych, uwzględniając przy tym teorie współzależności człowieka i środowiska przyrodniczego. Ostatni rozdział został poświęcony problematyce statusu nowej zasady etyczno-społecznej. Wyeksplikowano jej konstytutywne elementy i ustalono jej aktualny status. Porównanie systemów zasad etyczno-społecznych Monachijskiej Szkoły Chrześcijańskiej Etyki Społecznej i Lubelskiej Szkoły KNS pozwoliło sformułować w miarę wyczerpującą odpowiedź dotyczącą statusu nowego principium społecznego na gruncie KNS, wskazując przy tym na podstawy personalistycznego uzasadniania koncepcji zrównoważonego rozwoju.
The goal of the dissertation is to study the origins of the sustainable development principle and define the status of the newly-emerged foundation in the system of ethical and social principles of the Church social teaching. The work composed of five sections. The first section focuses on the integral, dynamic concept of man being the foundation of the system of ethical-social principles. The second section analyzes the process of emerging ethical-social principles being the basis of the postulated social-economic order. The third section discusses the social-economic conditions for shaping the idea of sustainable development for a full explanation of ecological issue in the perspective of axiology that characterized modern societies. The fourth section focuses on analyzing the current perspectives of sustainable development paying particular attention to different trends of environmental ethics and taking into account the theories of co-dependence of man and the natural environment. The new social-ethical principle fits the social-economic and social-ethical issues given the increased importance of non-anthropological explanations of environmental ethics at the cost of the status of a human person. The fifth section discusses the status of the new social-ethical principle. Comparing the systems of social-ethical principles of the Munich Christian School of Social Ethics and Lublin School of CST allowed to formulate a more or less satisfying response regarding the status if the new social CST-based foundation indicating the basis of the personalist explanation of the sustainable development concept.
