Abstract
Problem badawczy niniejszej rozprawy doktorskiej dotyczy szczegółowej i krytycznej analizy całokształtu funkcjonowania katolickich środków społecznego przekazu na terenie archidiecezji lwowskiej obrządku łacińskiego na Ukrainie. W tym celu zanalizowane zostały uwarunkowania historyczne dotyczące genezy i funkcjonowania środków społecznego przekazu w archidiecezji lwowskiej. Przeprowadzona została także krytyczna analiza istniejących aktualnie mass mediów katolickich na omawianym terenie. Przedmiotem analizy niniejszej rozprawy jest prasa, radio, telewizja i strony internetowe prowadzone przez podmioty rej archidiecezji. Główny problem badawczy dysertacji sformułowany został za pomocą następujących pytań: jakie media katolickie istniały na terenie archidiecezji lwowskiej? Jak przebiegał i przebiega ich rozwój? Na jakie trudności media katolickie napotykają się w nowej rzeczywistości społeczno-politycznej? Jakie działania podjąć, by media te mogły się dziś prężnie rozwijać i spełniać swoje wielorakie funkcje? W poszukiwaniu odpowiedzi na te pytania w dysertacji została podjęta próba zarysowania nowych możliwości rozwoju współczesnych środków społecznego przekazu na terenie archidiecezji lwowskiej. W pierwszej kolejności wskazano kierunki rozwoju współczesnej prasy katolickiej, radia i telewizji. Następnie zaprezentowano rolę i znaczenie stron internetowych oraz zaproponowano możliwości ich rozwoju i lepszego wykorzystania mediów społecznościowych jako ważnego narzędzia współczesnej komunikacji i ewangelizacji.
The research problem of this doctoral dissertation concerns a detailed and critical analysis of the entirety of the functioning of Catholic social media in the Lviv Archidocese of Latin rite in Ukraine. For this purpose, the historical conditions concerning the genesis and functioning of the media in the Archdiocese of Lviv have been analyzed. A critical analysis of the currently existing Catholic mass media in the area in question was also carried out. The subject of the analysis of this doctoral dissertation is the press, radio, television and websites run by the entities of archdiocese. the main research problem of the dissertation was formulated with the following questions: what Catholic media existed in the Archdiocese of Lviv? How was their development and how is it going? What difficulties do Catholic media encounter in the new socio-political reality? What actions should be taken to enable these media to develop dynamically today and fulfill its multiple functions? In search of answers to these questions, the dissertation attempts to outline new possibilities for the development of contemporary social media in the Archdiocese of Lviv. In the first place, the directions of development of the contemporary Catholic press, radio and television were indicated. It then presents the role and importance of websites, and suggests options for their development and better use. The need to use social media as an important tool of contemporary communication and evangelization was also indicated.
