Abstract
Celem niniejszej rozprawy doktorskiej jest przedstawienie myśli papieża na temat roli i znaczenia chrześcijaństwa oraz innych religii w kwestii poznania Boga i zbawienia człowieka, ukazanie religii chrześcijańskiej jako uprzywilejowanego środka spotkania z Bogiem, podanie syntezy nauczania Jana Pawła II na temat absolutności i wyjątkowości Osoby Chrystusa, nieprzekraczalnego charakteru Objawienia, jedyności i powszechności zbawienia w Jezusie oraz Kościoła jako powszechnego sakramentu zbawienia. Wyjątkowy charakter chrześcijaństwa jako świadka definitywnego objawienia w Jezusie Chrystusie, wynika z wyjątkowości i absolutności Jego osoby, dzieła i wydarzenia. O wyjątkowym charakterze chrześcijaństwa decyduje pełnia Bożego Objawienia zrealizowanego w Jezusie Chrystusie. Owa pełnia Chrystusowego objawienia wyraża się również w tym, że Chrystus jest samym Objawieniem; przedmiotem objawieniem, jak i jego podmiotem. Według nauczania papieskiego możemy powiedzieć, że istnieje jeden plan Boży, jedna ekonomia zbawcza, których centrum jest Jezus Chrystus, zjednoczony przez Wcielenia z każdym człowiekiem. On jest jedynym i powszechnym Pośrednikiem zbawienia i Odkupicielem całej ludzkości. W tym kontekście Kościół, założony bezpośrednio przez Chrystusa przyjmuje rolę kontynuatora Jego dzieła zbawczego, które wykonuje poprzez ciągłe działanie Ducha Świętego. Niniejsza dysertacja ma także znaczenie praktyczne dla właściwej formacji wiernych na temat rozumienia wyjątkowego charakteru chrześcijaństwa i przeciwstawiania się relatywizmowi religijnemu.
The goal of this thesis is to present the Pope's thoughts about the role and meaning of Christianity and other religions in the attainment of God and redemption of man, demonstrate that Christianity is a privileged way to God, synthesize the teachings of John Paul II about the Absolute and uniqueness of Christ, nature of Epiphany, uniqueness and omnitude of salvation in Christ, as well as to define the Church as a general saving ordinance for the humanity. The unique nature of Christianity as a witness of the final revelation in Christo is determined by the unique and absolute nature of His personality. Jesus is the ultimate and unsurpassed embodiment of all redemptive economy of God and the culmination of the Devine plan of love. The uniqueness of Christianity is determined by the completeness of Devine revelation also manifests itself in the fact that Christ is the revelation, its subject, and object at the same time. There no different ways of salvation, each person is to live their life in full by communicating with God, which is the main goal of redemption. That is why according to the teachings of the Pope, it can said that there is one Divine plan, on economy of redemption with Jesus Christ, united with every human by the Incarnation, at is centre. He is the only and universal Agent of redemption and Redeemer of all humankind. In this context, the Church, founded by Christ Himself, acts as a performs it due to the constant action of the Divine Spirit. This thesis has also a practical application in correct instruction of believers about the understanding of the unique nature of Christianity and opposition to religious relativism.
