dc.description.abstractKlasztor dominikanów w Brzegu powstał w połowie XIV w. Był ostatnią fundacją Braci Kaznodziejów na terenie średniowiecznego Śląska i sąsiadował z kilkoma innymi konwentami dominikańskimi: we Wrocławiu, Świdnicy, Ząbkowicach Śląskich, Lewinie Brzeskim i Opolu. Dla rozgraniczenia wpływów tych klasztorów wytyczono należące do nich okręgi, w których mogły one prowadzić działalność duszpasterską i gospodarczą. Wiadomości o zasięgu okręgu klasztoru w Brzegu czerpiemy z XVI-wiecznych wykazów dochodów i wydatków konwentu. Wytyczone na ich podstawie granice okręgu klasztoru brzeskiego obejmują tereny na lewym brzegu Odry położone w widłach Oławy i Nysy Kłodzkiej; dominikanie z Brzegu działali też w niektórych miastach i wsiach na prawym brzegu Odry położonych między Widawą oraz Prosną.pl
dc.description.abstractThe Dominican monastery in Brzeg was established in the mid-fourteenth century. It was the last foundation of the Order of Preachers in medieval Silesia and was adjacent to several other Dominican convents: in Wrocław, Świdnica, Ząbkowice Śląskie, Lewin Brzeski and Opole. To establish the range of authority of these monasteries, separate districts were marked out for each to carry out their pastoral and economic activities in. Information on the range of the monastery district in Brzeg is extracted from the 16th-century records of revenues and expenses of the convent. The territory of the Brzeg monastery district, with borders delineated on the basis of records, include the areas on the left bank of the Oder, located at the confluence of the Oława and Nysa Kłodzka; Dominicans from Brzeg were also active in some towns and villages on the right bank of the Oder, located between Widawa and Prosna.pl
dc.description.abstractDas Dominikanerkloster in Brieg endstand in der Mitte des 14. Jahrhundert. Das Heilig-Kreutz-Kloster war die letzte Stiftung des Dominikanerordens in mittelalterlichen Schlesien. In der Nähe dieses Klosters wurden auch andere Klöster gegründet (Breslau, Schweidnitz, Franckenstein, Löwen un Oppeln). Alle diese Klöster hatte Bezierke, in denen pastorale und wirtschaftliche Tätigkeit ausübten. Die Grenzen des Klosters in Brzeg umfasten des Gebietes am linken Ufer der Oder, zwischen Oława und Nysa Kłodzka, sowie Städte und Döfer am rechten Ufer der Oder, zwischen Widawa und Prosna.pl
