Wymiary budowania wspólnoty w pedagogice Jeana Vaniera

Abstract

Celem rozdziału jest przedstawienie założeń wspólnot vanierowskich – ognisk zamieszkania, pracy i przyjaźni z osobami z niepełnosprawnością intelektualną. Przedmiotem analizy są listy Jeana Vaniera kierowane do przyjaciół Arki, wysyłane w pierwszych latach funkcjonowania Ruchu L’Arche. Analiza tych listów, pisanych w latach 1964–1969 pozwoli na sięgnięcie do źródeł i opisanie podstawowych wymiarów budowania wspólnoty w ujęciu J. Vaniera. Pozwoli to na głębsze poznanie jego myśli pedagogicznej, zrozumienie źródeł i założeń wspólnot Arki i Wiary i Światła oraz odniesienie ich do współczesnej sytuacji osób z niepełnosprawnością intelektualną, oraz wspólnot vanierowskich w Polsce.

The aim of the chapter is to present the foundations of the Vanier’s communities – areas of residence, work and friendship with people with intellectual disabilities. The subject of the analysis are Jean Vanier’s letters addressed to friends of the Ark, sent in the first years of the Ark movement. The analysis of these letters, written in the years 1964–1969, will allow to reach to the sources and describe the basic dimensions of building the community in terms of J. Vanier. This will allow a deeper reflection on his pedagogical thought, understanding of the sources and assumptions of the communities of Ark and Faith and Light and their reference to the contemporary situation of people with intellectual disabilities and Vanier’s communities in Poland.
