Abstract

The revival of pedagogy, the strengthening of family and school is based on parents and teachers’ attitude to become adepts in upbringing. Thus, the enthusiasm of authentic role models, deeply concerned about educational matters, should be found and imitated. St John Bosco and his educational system is a current educational option which can fascinate both educators and the youth. As a result, they are made free and creative in their everyday lives. Father Bosco, a Christian educator and a down-to-earth person, builds his educational system on reason, religion and love, i.e. on something natural, full of moderation, intimacy and dialogue. As a consequence, the atmosphere of forming mature personalities, reliable, harmonious and good Christians and honest citizens is created.
