dc.description.abstract | This monograph aims at presenting the character of the Visegrád Group in the area of security. This initiative, being a cooperation platform formed by the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary can be seen as a specific security community. This is the main thesis of the discussed study, presented in this book. A starting point for this analysis is a thesis stating the existence of a community of ideas linking the integrating entities, which is present in Karl Deutsch’s communication theory and in the constructivism theory. This translates into the Visegrád Group being treated as a special security community. | |
