Tożsamość szkoły salezjańskiej

Abstract

Biorąc pod uwagę zadania stojące przed współczesną szkołą, przedmiotem poruszanych w artykule treści jest próba wskazania charakterystycznych cech szkoły salezjańskiej mającej swe początki w działalności pedagogicznej księdza J. Bosco. Tożsamości „szkoły salezjańskiej” można przede wszystkim upatrywać w sposobie realizacji chrześcijańskiej wizji edukacji i wychowania, u której podstaw stoi personalistyczna wizja człowieka oraz w podstawowych założeniach systemu prewencyjnego księdza Bosco ujętych w trójmian wzajemnie dopełniających się zasad, obejmujących: rozum, religię i miłość wraz z nieodzowną w praktyce systemu prewencyjnego obecnością wychowawczą. Podstawowym założeniem działalności szkoły salezjańskiej jest bowiem wychowanie człowieka jako osoby, istoty cielesnej, psychicznej i duchowej, wolnej i rozumnej, której trzeba pomóc w rozwoju naturalnym, kulturalnym i duchowym.

Considering the tasks facing contemporary school, the subjects dealt with in the present article is an attempt to point to the characteristic features of the Salesian school, which has its beginnings in the pedagogical activity of Father J. Bosco. The identity of “Salesian school” can be first of all sought in the way of realizing the Christian vision of education and bringing up at the basis of which the personalistic vision of humanity stands, and in the fundamental assumptions of the preventive system of Father Bosco viewed in a trinomial of the complementing principles including reason, religion and love together with the educator’s presence, which is indispensable in the practice of the preventive system. The basic assumption of the activity of the Silesian school is educating a human as a person, a bodily, psychical and spiritual creature, who is free and rational and who should be helped in the natural, cultural and spiritual development.
