Psalmodia w Pontificale Plocense z XII wieku jako istotne kryterium identyfikacji proweniencji źródeł liturgiczno-muzycznych

Abstract

Ustalenie proweniencji źródeł liturgiczno-muzycznych należy do jednych z najtrudniejszych zagadnień, z jakimi mierzą się mediewiści. Jednym z istotnych kryteriów, pomocnych w rozpoznaniu tradycji muzycznej, jest identyfikacja formuł psalmodycznych, obecnych zarówno w postaci intonacji psalmowych, a jeszcze bardziej w formie dyferencji psalmowych. Artykuł podejmuje te zagadnienia obecne w Pontificale Plocense z XII w. Komparacja cheironomicznego zapisu intonacji i dyferencji psalmowych z edycją watykańską pozwoliła odczytać ich wersję melodyczną, przyporządkować je do jednego z ośmiu tonów psalmowych oraz potwierdziła zgodność poszczególnych tonów psalmowych z tonami antyfon. Rękopis płocki reprezentuje najprawdopodobniej tradycję diecezjalną.Determining the provenance of the liturgical and musical sources is one of the most difficult issues faced by the medievalists. Among the most important criteria, helpful in the recognition of musical tradition, one can indicate the identification of psalmodic formulas, which are present both in the form of psalm intonations and – in particular – in the form of psalm differentiations. These issues, present in Pontificale Plocense from the 12th century, are addressed in the presented article. Comparison of the cheironomic notation of intonations and psalm differentiations with the Vatican edition allows us to read their melodic version and assign them to one of the eight psalm tones. Moreover, it confirms the compatibility of particular psalm tones with the tones of antiphons. The research indicates that the Płock manuscript probably represents a diocesan tradition.
