Abstract
Opracowanie obejmuje analizę podręczników i ważniejszych monografii ks. profesora Bolesława Kumora. Podręczniki to: Historia Kościoła i praca zbiorowa – Historia Kościoła w Polsce. Wybrane monografie to: Ustrój i organizacja Kościoła Polskiego w okresie niewoli narodowej 1772–1918; Dzieje polityczno-geograficzne diecezji tarnowskiej; Diecezja tarnowska. Dzieje ustroju i organizacji 1786–1985; Dzieje diecezji krakowskiej do roku 1795. Omówione prace związane były z dwoma głównymi nurtami w twórczości naukowej ks. B. Kumora: dydaktyka oraz wiodący nurt badań – ustrój i organizacja Kościoła. Spośród wielu wartościowych nurtów w dorobku naukowym ks. B. Kumora dwa wskazane należy uznawać za najbardziej rozwinięte i ukoronowane publikacjami książkowymi.
Rev. Professor Bolesław Kumor’s history of the Church textbooks and selected monographs The study focuses on the analysis of Rev Prof. Bolesław Kumor’s textbooks and monographs. The textbooks are as follows: The History of the Church and the joint publication The History of the Church in Poland. The selected monographs are detailed below: The Structure and Organization of the Polish Church during the National Captivity 1772–1918, The Political and Geographic History of the Diocese of Tarnów, The Diocese of Tarnów. The History of Structure and Organization 1786–1985, The History of the Diocese of Krakow until 1795. The presented works were connected with the two major areas of Rev. Kumor’s scholarly career: teaching and the main focus of his research – the structure and organization of the Church. Rev. Bolesław Kumor studied various significant issues but these two aforementioned areas of his interest should be regarded as the most thoroughly explored and crowned with publications.
