Abstract

Rendering the professional legal services in Poland has a long tradition. Entities performing specific tasks in the provision of legal services are advocates and legal advisers. The essence of the legal profession is contained in three aspects: self-reliance and independence in the performance of professional functions, organization and management system, and the origin of the governing bodies of choice. For this reason, local and national bars associations focusing special trust may restrict the freedom of establishment of its members, if the center of their activity consists in the business as a part of special care. The lawyers providing professional legal assistance have the mission and duty to act in public interest, which involves the need to ensure adequate preparation for the professional rendering legal services.
