dc.description.abstractŚpiewy postgregoriańskie stanowią ważny obszar badań monodii łacińskiej późnego średniowiecza. Wywodzą się wprawdzie z repertuaru klasycznego, jednak znacząco się od niego różnią w swej wypowiedzi stylistycznej. Jedną z takich form są oficja rymowane, których treść stanowi kunsztownie zredagowany opis życia i śmierci jakiego świętego za pomocą rymowanych tekstów antyfon i responsoriów. Podjęty przez nas temat dotyczy tekstów i melodii historii rymowanej o św. Katarzynie Aleksandryjskiej z Pontyfikału Płockiego z XII w. W świetle przeprowadzonych badań źródłowych wykazano, iż oficjum o św. Katarzynie nosi wyraźne cechy monodii późnego średniowiecza, zarówno w warstwie tekstowej, jak i melodycznej. Reprezentuje dojrzałą postać oficjum rymowanego, czego przejawem jest rymowana struktura wiersza oraz styl muzyczny, całkowicie obcy klasycznym założeniom gregoriańskim.pl
dc.description.abstractPontificale Plocense aus dem 12. Jh. ist eines der ersten vollständig erhaltenen einheimischen Pontifikalen. Unter den liturgischen Riten gibt es das Reimoffizium zu Ehren der Hl. Katharina von Alexandria. Seine Musik trägt die charakteristischen Merkmale einer Monodie des späten Mittelalters. Diese entspricht gut hinein in Europa geltenden Grundregeln der spätmittelalterlichen Ton-kunst. Die untersuchte Matutin ist ein Beleg dafür, dass das Mittelalter auch in der Musik keine statische Epoche war, sondern die Künstler immer nach neuen Ausdrucksformen gesucht und diese auch verwirklicht hatten.pl
dc.description.abstractPost-Gregorian chants are an important area of study of the Latin monody of the late Middle Ages. Although derived from the classical repertoire, their stylistic expression is significantly different. One example of such forms is the rhymed office constituting an elaborate description of the life and death of a saint with the use of rhymed texts of antiphons and responsories. The subject of our study concerns the texts and melodies of the rhymed history of St. Catherine of Alexandria from the 12th-century Płock Pontifical. In the light of conducted research, it has been shown that the office of Saint Catherine carries the distinct traits of monodies of the late Middle Ages, both in its textual and melodic layers. It represents the sophisticated, mature form of the rhymed office, which is manifested by the rhymed structure of the poem and musical style, completely incongruous with the classic Gregorian assumptions.pl
