dc.description.abstractBogata spuścizna Edmunda Bojanowskiego stanowi źródło poznania jego myśli pedagogicznej i pozwala na jej odczytywanie w aktualnych uwarunkowaniach miejsca i czasu. Stworzył koncepcję wychowania stanowiącą syntezę teorii i praktyki, bazując na europejskiej myśli pedagogicznej i jej związku z dziejowym rozwojem ludzkości. W refleksji nad ówczesną sytuacją ludzkości, narodu i rodziny ukazał sens i wartość wczesnego wychowania. Zostawił styl działań służący poznawaniu i ocenie aktualnej sytuacji, by rozpoznać zagrożenia dla ochrony przed ich negatywnym wpływem oraz szanse dla integralnego rozwoju i wychowania osoby. Zachowanie zasad wynikających z niezmiennej natury człowieka, praw jego rozwoju i wartości najwyższych, ujęcie kontekstu życia człowieka w perspektywie natury, religii i historii oraz specyfiki społeczno-kulturowej danego środowiska nadaje ponadczasowy i uniwersalny wymiar jego myśli pedagogicznej, inspirując do odpowiedzi na współczesne wyzwania. The rich legacy of Edmund Bojanowski provides a source of knowledge of his pedagogical thought and allows it to be read in the current conditions of place and time. Based on an analysis of European pedagogical thought and its relationship to the historical development of humanity and on the situation of the nation and the family at the time, he showed the essence and value of early upbringing. He created a conception of upbringing and left a style of action for knowing and evaluating the current situation in order to recognise threats to protect against their negative impact and opportunities for the integral development and upbringing of the person. The preservation of the principles derived from the immutable nature of man, the laws of his development and the highest values, the framing of the context of human life in the perspective of nature, religion and history and the socio–cultural specificities of a given environment gives a timeless and universal dimension to his pedagogical thought, inspiring a response to contemporary challenges.
