Die Kirche und die Kirchengemeinde in Heiligenthal (Świątki) anhand der ältesten Quellen und des Visitationsprotokolls aus dem Jahre 1567

dc.description.abstractIn dem vorliegenden Artikel wird die Entstehungsgeschichte der Kirchen-gemeinde in Heiligenthal/Świątki dargestellt sowie ihre Entwicklung bis in die zweite Hälfte des 16. Jahrhunderts. Auf der Grundlage der ältesten archivarischen Quellen werden die kirchlichen Bezüge, die ersten Seelsorger und die Dörfer, die der örtlichen Kirche angegliedert sind, beschrieben. Berücksichtigt wird ebenso das Patrozinium der hl. Kosmas und Damian, welches im Ermland nur bei diesem einen Gotteshaus auftritt. Die meisten Informationen wurden jedoch aus dem ältesten Visitationsprotokoll gewonnen, das im Jahre 1567 vom Domherren Samson Worein angefertigt wurde. Er beschrieb darin eingehend die Kirchenausstattung, darunter ebenso die Büchersammlung, stellte den Pfarrer und den Lehrer vor und stellte die Gottesdienstordnung dar. Ein interessanter Zusatz ist weiterhin die Erwähnung des Adligen, des Anführers der bischöflichen Truppen, David Braxein, der seinen Glauben verlor, letztendlich jedoch in der heimatlichen Kirche beigesetzt wurde. Das gesammelte Material ist eine wertvolle Quelle zur Geschichte der Kirchengemeinde, doch auch des weiteren Ermlands, zu den Formen der Seelsorge, zu den wirtschaftlichen Beziehungen und den damaligen gesellschaftlichen Gegebenheiten, insbesondere denjenigen, die den Einflüssen des neuen Bekenntnisses, dem Luthertum, entsprangen.pl
dc.description.abstractThe article presents the origin of the parish in Świątki and its development until the second half of the 16th century. On the basis of the oldest archival sources, the glebe of the first ministers and the villages allocated to the local church were described. Attention was also paid to the feast of St. Cosmas and Damian’s patronage, which is found only at this temple in Warmia. However, the most information was extracted from the oldest post-visitation report, which was drawn up in 1567 by Canon Samson Worein. He described in detail the church equipment, including the book collection, presented the parish priest and teacher Georgius Schröter, as well as the order of services. The mention of a nobleman, commander of the bishop’s troops, David Braxein, who lost his faith but was eventually buried in the local church, is also interesting. The collected materials are a valuable source for the history of this parish, but also more broadly of Warmia, the forms of pastoral ministry, economic relations, and the social conditions of the era, especially those resulting from the influence of a new denomination – Lutheranism.pl
dc.description.abstractW artykule przedstawiono genezę parafii w Świątkach oraz jej rozwój do dru­giej połowy XVI wieku. Na podstawie najstarszych źródeł archiwalnych opisano uposażenie, pierwszych duszpasterzy i wioski przypisane do miejscowego kościoła. Zwrócono również uwagę na patrocinium św. Kosmy i Damiana, które na Warmii występuje tylko przy tej świątyni. Najwięcej jednak informacji wydobyto z najstarszego protokołu powizytacyjnego, który sporządził w 1567 r. kanonik Samson Worein. Opisał on dokładnie wyposażenie kościoła, w tym także księgozbiór, zaprezentował proboszcza Georgiusa Schrötera i na­uczyciela, przedstawił porządek nabożeństw. Interesującym dodatkiem jest także wzmianka o szlachcicu, dowódcy wojsk biskupich, Davidzie Braxeinie, który utracił wiarę, ale ostatecznie został pochowany w miejscowym kościele. Zebrane materiały są cennym źródłem do dziejów tej parafii, ale też szerzej Warmii, form duszpasterstwa, stosunków gospodarczych i ówczesnych uwarunkowań społecznych, zwłaszcza wynikających z wpływów nowego wyznania – luteranizmu.pl
