dc.description.abstractWażnym elementem polskiego krajobrazu są przydrożne obiekty sakralne. Pełniąc od wieków funkcje religijne, kulturowe i krajobrazowe stają się obecnie często zapomnianym elementem przestrzeni. Podlegają procesom starzenia, niszczenia, a nawet dewastacji, przez co ich znaczenie w krajobrazie maleje. Badania przeprowadzone na terenie gminy Mełgiew w województwie lubelskim mają charakter inwentaryzacyjny. Określają stan istniejący i sposób zachowania przydrożnych obiektów sakralnych. Wskazują obiekty najcenniejsze pod względem historycznym, kutrowym i krajobrazowym. Wynikiem analiz jest waloryzacja przydrożnych krzyży, kapliczek, figur i mogił w odniesieniu do krajobrazu gminy, który ulega szybkim zmianom przestrzennym.pl
dc.description.abstractRoadside sacral objects constitute an essential element of the Polish landscape. Having performed religious, cultural and landscape functions for ages, at present they often become forgotten elements of the surrounding space. They undergo the processes of ageing, deterioration, or even devastation, due to which their importance in the landscape is diminished. Research conducted in the area of Mełgiew district, in the Lublin Voivodeship, constitutes an inventory of such objects. It determines the present condition of the roadside sacral objects and the way they were maintained. It also indicates which objects are the most valuable from the historical, cultural and scenic point of view. The outcome of this research is a valorisation of the roadside crosses, shrines, statues and tombs with reference to the landscape of the district, which is subject to rapid spatial changes.pl
