Abstract
W artykule ukazano wiarę dorosłych katolików w Polsce w dogmaty maryjne. Podstawę tej prezentacji stanowią wyniki badań socjologicznych zrealizowanych na przełomie XX i XXI wieku wśród dorosłych katolików zamieszkujących miasta i wsie. Badania uwzględnione w tym artykule zostały zrealizowane przez autorów za pomocą różnych metod socjologicznych. Badania te wykazały, że nastawienie dorosłych katolików do dogmatów maryjnych było zróżnicowane i zależne od takich czynników jak płeć, miejsce zamieszkania, wiek, deklaracje wiary religijnej i praktyk kultowych. Badania wykazały, że w XXI wieku mniej dorosłych katolików akceptowało dogmaty religijne i wierzyło w ich sens religijny niż w XX wieku.
This article investigates the level of belief in the Marian dogmas reported by adult Catholics in Poland. The discussion is based on sociological research carried out at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries involving adult Catholics living in towns and villages. The research covered in this article was carried out by the authors with the use of diverse sociological methods. The results show that adult Catholics’ attitudes towards the Marian dogmas vary and depend on factors such as gender, place of residence, age, declarations of religious faith and worship practices. The research shows that the number of adult Catholics in Poland who accept religious dogmas and acknowledge their religious significance decreased between the 20th and the 21st century.
