Działalność twórcza młodzieży szkolnej w cyberprzestrzeni a jej osiągnięcia edukacyjne

Abstract
The main aim of the presented book is to analyze the interdependencies between creative activity pursued by school youth in cyberspace and their educational achievements in the light of literature and my own empirical research, as well as to develop the theoretical basis for the pedagogy of cyberspace creativity in light of the theory of personalistic pedagogy, and practical pedagogical indications. In the theoretical part of my study, I analysed cyberspace as an educational and teaching environment, which made it possible to determine what educational potential is the Internet space offers. Then, an attempt was made to specify what creative activity is. For verification, I found it necessary to identify the factors determining creativity and its types−levels, as well as the types and areas of “network creative activity”. Preliminary analyses concerning cyberspace and creative activity were the reason for trying to determine the dynamising opportunities and mechanisms that restrict educational achievements inherent in creative activity − in cyberspace. The empirical part of the book starts with an examination of: the specific nature of young people’s online creative activity, the way in which the Internet influences young people’s creative activity, and the social and cultural conditions for creative activity in cyberspace. Next follow the results of my research concerning the didactic and educational achievements of students undertaking creative activity on the Internet. The research material I gathered made it possible for me to indicate the types of activities that have a positive or negative impact on educational achievements. The collected data were the basis for determining the mechanisms triggering educational achievements in school youth’s online creative activity. The last chapter of the presented study presents a concept of pedagogy of creative activity undertaken in cyberspace in the context of the theory of personalistic pedagogy.
