Abstract
Niniejszy artykuł koncentruje się nad rozpoznaniem roślin na wybranych obrazach Hansa Memlinga, jednego z najbardziej znanych mistrzów niderlandzkich drugiej połowy XV wieku. Celem pracy jest uzupełnienie informacji na temat szaty roślinnej ukazanej w jego obrazach, które dotychczas nie były przeanalizowane przez przyrodników. Prezentowane badania miały określić stopień dokładności botanicznego odwzorowania namalowanych roślin. Wskazać, które z nich są najczęściej powtarzane i czy sposób ich przedstawienia wykazuje podobieństwa w poszczególnych obrazach i scenach.
This article is focused on identification of plants in selected paintings by Hans Memling, one of the best-known Netherlandish Masters from the second half of the 15th century. The goal of this paper is to complete the information regarding flora shown in his paintings that have not been analysed by naturalists until now. The aim of the presented research was to determine the degree of accuracy of botanical representation of the painted plants. The purpose was also to show which of them occurred most often, as well as whether the manner of their depiction indicates similarities between individual paintings and scenes.
