Abstract
W niniejszym artykule podjęto zagadnienie polityki nagradzania nauczycieli i innych pracowników oświaty za wybitne zasługi położone przez nich w procesie dydaktyki i wychowania. Nagradzanie i honorowanie osiągnięć danego człowieka jest zasadniczo przedmiotem zainteresowania nauk pedagogicznych, jednak niuanse tej polityki zostały uregulowane w licznych aktach normatywnych, stąd znajduje ona odzwierciedlenie także w nauce prawa. Z pracą nauczyciela, jak każdego człowieka realizującego się zawodowo, jest związana potrzeba uznania i aprobaty jego indywidualnych osiągnięć. Z drugiej strony, nie można pominąć także szerszego, społecznego aspektu tej polityki, polegającej na wyjaśnieniu tego, za co przyznawana jest dana nagroda, aby uniknąć reakcji negatywnych ze strony osób towarzyszących nagradzaniu: zazdrości, niechęci czy poniżenia. W artykule przedstawiono nie tylko oczywiste korzyści, jakie niesie za sobą otrzymanie nagrody, ale przede wszystkim przybliżono warunki, które musi wypełnić osoba, która w przyszłości chciałaby liczyć się z możliwością otrzymania nagród i odznaczeń, w tym Medalu „Komisji Edukacji Narodowej”.
The article attempts to show the main ways of awarding the members of teachers and other educational staff for outstanding services and achievements in the field of teaching and education. The orders and decorations constitute the supreme honour for the civil and military merits, for the glory and development of the Republic of Poland. Rewarding and celebrating human achievements is essentially the subject of pedagogy science, but the nuances of this policy they have been regulated in many normative acts, that is why this is the subject of the legal reflection. With the profession of a teacher, as well as every working man performing his job professionally, is related to the need for recognition and approval of his individual achievements. On the other hand, we cannot ignore the wider social aspects of rewarding policy, involving the explanation of what is awarded a prize in order to avoid negative reactions from people accompanying reward: envy, resentment or humiliation. The article presents, therefore, not only the obvious benefits that entails receiving awards, but also precise conditions to be met by a person who in the futurę would like to reckon with the possibility of receiving awards and decorations, including the Medal of “National Education Commission”.
