Abstract
W szkicu tym zostały przedstawione wybrane problemy dotyczące przemian aspiracji edukacyjnych oraz wyboru drogi kształcenia głównie młodzieży licealnej. Autorka zwraca szczególną uwagę na przewodnią myśl w toczącym się od kilku lat dyskursie w zakresie kształtowania dążeń kolejnych pokoleń nastolatków oraz ich preferencji edukacyjnych. Z wypowiedzi młodzieży wynikało, że zasadniczy wpływ na kształtowanie się zainteresowań edukacyjno-zawodowych wśród licealistów mają: przemiany społeczno-ekonomiczne, czynniki demograficzne, psychologiczne, pedagogiczne i kulturowe. Podjęta przez autorkę analiza aspiracji licealistów z regionu radomskiego wynikała przede wszystkim ze zmian w organizacji polskiej edukacji oraz z transformacji ustrojowej i integracji z Unią Europejską. Wyniki prezentowanego wywiadu są częścią obszernych badań prowadzonych w pierwszej dekadzie obecnego stulecia (2005-2008) w trzech różnych środowiskach regionu radomskiego wśród młodzieży, która kształciła się w liceach wiejskich, w małych miastach i w Radomiu. Badaniami zostało objętych 9 szkół (7 liceów ogólnokształcących publicznych i 2 licea katolickie). Sondaż przeprowadzono na próbie 433 licealistów z 18 klas (9 klas pierwszych i 9 maturalnych) o profilu humanistycznym.
This essay presents selected problems concerning the transformation of educational aspirations and choice of educational pathways of most of high school students. The author pays particular attention to the guiding thought which has been presented in the ongoing, already for several years, discourse about shaping the aspirations of successive generations of teenagers and their educational preferences. The statements of young people showed that socio-economic, demographic, psychological, educational and cultural changes have a significant impact on the development of educational and vocational interests of high school students. The need of undertaking the analysis of aspirations of high school students from the region of Radom arose mainly due to changes in the organization of the Polish educational system and the transformation and integration within the European Union. Presented results of the survey are the part of a broader research conducted in the first decade of this century (2005-2008) in three different environments of Radom region among the youths, who were educated in high schools in rural areas (Solec, Sienno, Mariówka), in small towns (Lipsko, Iłża, Skaryszew) and in Radom itself. The study was carried out in nine schools (7 public secondary schools and two Catholic high schools). The survey was conducted on a sample group of 433 high school students from 18 humanity oriented classes (9- first grade classes and 9 – final grade classes).
