- ItemMedia ethics within the fake news challenges during the Covid-19 pandemic(2020) Hadžialić, Sabahudin; Phuong, Vi ThiW wykonywaniu każdego zawodu należy kierować się zasadami etyki, jednak w niektórych profesjach, takich jak dziennikarstwo, wymagających szczególnej relacji ze społeczeństwem i poszczególnymi ludźmi, etyka zawodowa jest niezwykle ważna. Z jednej strony toczy się walka o zachowanie poczucia sprawiedliwości, równowagi i obiektywności, z drugiej – nadchodzi polecenie z góry, aby zniekształcić prawdę. Twoje działania mogą naruszyć dobro publiczne i wywołać dylematy moralne.
- ItemMuzułmańskie mocarstwa regionalne wobec konfliktu czeczeńskiego("Studia I Analizy Nauk O Polityce", 2020, 2, s. 9-31, 2020) Gorlicka, SylwiaThe article aims to present the international conditions of the Russian-Chechen wars, with particular emphasis on selected Muslim regional powers (Iran, Turkey and Saudi Arabia). The problem was considered not only as an internal conflict of the Russian Federation with the autonomous Republic of Chechnya, which is a part of it but one that was interfered by external entities, showing the scope and types of influence that they used during the events, as well as the goals they tried to achieve. The author approached the topic differently than it is done in most of the Polish and foreign publications. The author adopted realism in the defensive realism trend as the theoretical perspective in the study of international relations and applied an adequate methodological approach for it. The key method used in the article was the analysis of printed and electronic sources in text form. Also, a comparative method with a historical perspective was used to describe the multiplicity and differentiation of the reasons for the participation of selected political entities in the Russian-Chechen conflict.
- ItemPolityka publiczna lub narodziny (nowej) nauki(2020) Konečný, StanislavThe study provides an overview of the origin and development of public policy as an independent scientific discipline in the European context, especially in the political science environment as a consequence of changes in objective reality and as a consequence of the development of methods dominant among which was the influence of sociology. It compares this development, which has shifted over time in Central Europe compared to Western Europe by several decades, and analyzes the causes and differences as consequences of this shift, especially in Central Europe, especially in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland. Due to the interruption of the natural development of the social sciences in this part of Europe, the emerging theory of public policy seeks its origins both in the existing Western European-American political science tradition but also in social policy and, for example in Poland, more in administrative and legal sciences as well as in a wider range of sociological disciplines - and again, compared to other countries in the region, much less in the context of political science. All this has its specific causes, leading to similar differences in approaches to public policy as we perceive them between German, French and American public policy, which enriches the forms of this new scientific discipline.
