dc.description.abstractTeresa Kukołowicz (1925-2014) podkreślała, że człowiek jest bytem niedoskonałym, niedokończonym, potencjalnym, a dzięki oddziaływaniom pedagogicznym ma szansę na kształtowanie siebie tak, by stawać się coraz bardziej doskonałym, dokończonym, by aktualizować swoje możliwości. Zatem, jeśli chcemy mówić, że wychowanie jest pomocą niesioną człowiekowi w jego rozwoju i wzrastaniu – to jego sens tkwi w realizacji tych celów, które wyrażają sposób rozumienia świata i życia, sposób wartościowania rzeczywistości i jego ocenę. W efekcie wyrazem takiej postawy człowieka wobec świata i życia jest jego deklaracja wobec podstawowych wartości. Człowiek odpowiada na wezwanie wartości i w ten sposób nie tylko przekształca świat, lecz także buduje siebie jako wartość na tym świecie. Pedagog staje więc przed zadaniem wyposażenia wychowanka w sprawności i struktury, które będą rozwijać w nim gotowość do aktualizowania siebie jako osoby. Bez oczywistych prawd religijno-światopoglądowych, etycznych i estetycznych nasze życie osobiste i społeczne byłoby bardziej chaotyczne niż obecnie.pl
dc.description.abstractTeresa Kukołowicz (1925-2014) emphasized that man is an imperfect, unfinished, potential being, and thanks to pedagogical interactions, he has a chance to shape himself so as to become more and more perfect, complete, to update his abilities. Thus, if we want to say that education or upbringing means helping a person in his/her development and growth – its sense covers realisation of the goals which express the way of understanding the world and life, the way of valuing the reality and its evaluation. The effect of such attitude towards the world and life is the person’s declaration on the basic values. Man responds to the call of values and thus not only transforms the world, but also builds himself as a value in this world. The educator is thus faced with the task of equipping the pupil with skills and structures that will develop his readiness to update himself as a person. Our personal and social life, without obvious truths of religious, ideological, ethical and aesthetic nature, would be even more chaotic than it is now.pl
